F. We let a ton of talent go and all we could manage for it is a 5th rounder? Are you kidding me?

The FO never has a plan, they just react to what ever went wrong last year typically.

But this is a weird one, they are doing random things that make no sense.

For all you whiners, why are you still signing up for this abuse. Find another team that manages like you like it. Dallas is a family owned organization and is not going to change.

I gave them a D for now, only because I feel it's a bit too early for an F.

Sell the team and I'll change it to an A.

We need to face reality. Nothing this FO has done has made a difference since Jimmy left. 2 1/2 decades of not even making a NFC Championship game, let alone a Super Bowl. Let that sink in. This FO refuses to look in the mirror. PLEASE SELL THE TEAM

Right now it's an F.
Still time however, though I'm not optimistic.
The Gregory situation is an absolute embarrassment. To almost lose him, then actually lose him, with no backup plan is unforgivable.
Cooper could have easily been restructured, down to about 8 mil this year. As it is he is costing us 6 Mil cap space and we got nothing for him. Just doesn't make sense to me. Now we have a huge hole at WR. You getting someone as good as Coop for 2 mil?
Collins I do understand the laziness issue, but again, you've created a new hole at a position we were pretty well set at.
I like Armstrong, think he's a solid back up, but 6 1/2 mil for him indicates to me they think he is more than that. We have 2 solid back up DE's (Basham and Gholston). So while I like Armstrong better than those guys, better to pool that money toward a starter IMO.
As of now there are too many holes to fill in the Draft, and FA is getting thinned out.
Can still salvage by signing ZaDarius and Wagner (and keeping Kearse).
Add a beefy DT and a vet WR, then go OL heavy in draft (and maybe WR and TE)
I just have no faith in this organization at this point.

D for sure. You got some playoff teams out there making some major moves to remain competitive, meanwhile we continue to drag our feet. The draft is not going to fix every thing.

F

I knew we were cutting/trading Amari but I never liked it. It will absolutely hurt our passing game.

I’m a bit indifferent about Shultz getting the tag. He was very valuable last season, especially early in the season. Hopefully he can improve his blocking because he’s just a receiver at this point. He’s a liability in the running game.

Cutting Collins is weird because the savings are minimal. His dead cap number over the next two seasons will almost equal our savings. I think the team knows something we don’t about him.

Losing Gregory, Ced and very possibly Kearse is pretty awful and demonstrates our limitations with Dak’s contract. We need guys like Gregory, Ced and Kearse to win and if Dak’s deal prevents that, that’s all on the front office.

If we were active in replacing our lost players I’d give us a C at least. But we’re waiting for bargains as usual. And it’s gonna be difficult to find starters with our draft position.

F until further notice. They are going to have to have an amazing draft. Pretty sure that's what their philosophy is but it has failed and failed and failed. Sure we get some good ones but overall it isn't working out as much as they have convinced themselves. They don't have PROPER team building balance. They are convinced cheap Wal-Mart generic ingredients can still make a gourmet meal. Wrong!

F.

We've overpaid backups and released starters who were the best we had.

Guys....literally every year for the past I can't even remember how long ...we have always sat out the first week of FA other than retaining our own.

Why would this year be any different?

Relax ..Wagner and Z are still out there. There are some others still out there that we would be very happy with. Let's try and practice some patience...

How can you grade them for the offseason when its only about 30% done?
