Well I am not happy with the Bills after the Miller negotiations. They gave him an offer that our FO wouldn't even touch and priced him out of our range but that is all FA it seems other than our own low level ones.
Nothing to be mad about...our office never even reached out to Miller PERIOD!

There have been a few deal that players backed out of this year. It's strange and I hope it does not become common in the NFL. It does seem a bit unethical. Maybe teams should not count their chickens until the contracts are signed. Whatever happened to the days when teams wouldn't let free agents leave the building until the contract was signed?

It is what it is. Players don't have any loyalty to anyone anymore. It's business.

I will go play for a shiity team if I can get just a few more dollars and the agents are on board because they get more money too.

Just business.

Who am I to lose sleep over it?

Beane, get in the back of the line for beef with Washington. You’ll have to wait behind a host of former players, dozens of former female employees, an entire race of indigenous people, and just about every fan that’s ever worn the burgundy and gold with or without hog noses and wigs.

The fan club is over to the right where Joe Theismann and maybe a few of their radio toadies are milling about.

And this is why I believe the salary cap should be abolished. If a team doesn’t have enough money to get and keep premium players then they need to get investors to help out. This parody bs has ruined the league to whereas most players never retire with the team the were drafted by. It’s so stupid that Fanatics and NFL.com have a jersey exchange for those who have jerseys of a player who leaves in free agency. It’s gone too far. Each team should be able to spend whatever they can afford to keep who they want and need. The salary cap breeds disloyalty in the players.

They are all in it together. It's the business.

We as fans are the only ones that invest emotions and they know it.

This obviously applies to Dallas and Denver too.

Players want the most money they can get with as little strings attached as possible.

Just like Gregory, Dallas wants him to sign a behavioral clause and Denver says thats stupid, sign with us instead. Cant blame Gregory, if you get the same money but with no stipulations attached, who wouldnt take that deal.

Someone with class and a conscience wouldn't take that deal. He would not be an NFL if not for the Dallas Cowboys. We believed in him and bent over backwards to keep him in the NFL. This is what he does?

The days of drafting players like him need to end. It's not cute. It's not edgy. Just stop it. Stop doing it.
