Would you choose Bobby Wagner or Von Miller?

Wagner by a lot and that is not a knock on Miller. But Wagner would allow Parsons to rush the passer more (and he is better at it than Miller at this point) and freelance more and basically Parsons is the only LB on the team that can play run downs right now at a high level. I'm a huge fan of Cox (errr...well, you know what I mean) and think he will be a big asset this year, but the team sure as heck didn't seem to want to get him any snaps before his injury even with our poor LB play against the run from everyone but Parsons.

I'd go with Wagner and appreciate the FO for the 1st time this year. On 2nd thought, it might take a bit more than that . . . :muttley:

Tough call but probably Wagner.
Von is a good edge but Dallas has DLaw and Micah plus Dorance and recent draftees.

Wagner is the kind of team leader they need who also knows DQ's defenses. And he'd be a very improved LB over Keanu Neal/LVE.

Von is a Hall of Famer but he is about 5 years since he last made All Pro and is definitely on the downside of a storied career so the contract he got seems completely nuts.

The real question is Bobby Wagner and Von Miller or Leighton Vander Esch and Dante Fowler?

It's like 6 in one and half a dozen in the other.

Why hasn't Wagner signed somewhere yet?

Bobby represents himself
He probably still wants big money
As good as many say he still is , he isn’t worth being paid top tier money
While he is a definite upgrade for the cowboys - I’m not sure Stephen will open his wallet big enough to get him and other teams aren’t beating down the door yet either
I think many are waiting for the dust to settle and Bobby’s asking price to drop a bit

If Miller's low interest lingers long enough, is it possible he'd lower his $$ lust enough to suit the C'boys? Well, you never know . . .
