Poor, Baker. He lobbied so hard for Indy, but they chose an on-the-verge-of-retirement QB over him.
Wonder if the Brown just cut him.

I heard all the media heads saying the Colts with that OL, run game, and defense were now real contenders.
I saw all the posts here saying the Colts with that OL, run game, and defense were now real contenders.

That was last year when they signed Wentz and reunited him with Reich. Now it’s Matt Ryan. (Yawn)

As opposed to you not wanting to judge him property because of him having a Star on the helmet.
You don’t like anything about this team.
The star on the helmet does not influence anything when it comes to judging talent.

Simple minds allow things like "favorite team" to influence the way they judge a player's talent.

And simpler minds can’t comprehend anything as to what is really going on.
Star or not.

well going to a new team might recharge his batteries, but he is no longer a full charge.
But he is better than wentz.

People said that about Wentz? That's on you then, for not putting everyone who said that on ignore.

Good trade for the colts..a third will be lucky to be in the league in a few years, but I know zoners think they should be borderline hof'ers if the boys draft them

If the Browns cut him they eat the whole $19 million he is owed. Cleveland will need a QB for the time Watson is suspended. I imagine that will be between 8-12 games and I wouldn’t be surprised if it were more. Baker could potentially use those starts to audition.

He is a LOT better than Wenrz. That is a fact. Now how much he has left one does not know of course. BUT if he just has an average career year for them that is a big jump.
And all for a 3rd plus not a bad cap hit. Very good move for the Colts.

Mayfield is in purgatory. Its funny. His teams are dwindling after Waston and now the Ryan trade. If I'm his agent, I'm calling ATL and begging them to trade for him.

you know it’s bad when the panthers aren’t calling lol

The media were all over it last year too. They expected Wentz to perform the way he did with Reich the first time.
