Micah cleared this one up...
i would even accept a Robert Quinn type late round conditional trade if that would be what it take to get that middle ground splash player that has
ability to get us to another level ... per defense, per offense.
But that kind of trade is just not a given year in year out, and we're seeing playoff and SB contenders making that risky vet middle ground splash and push
But as many have said it's about the sheer philosophy of NFL draft, re-sign own core players, and bargain binge the leftovers.,, .
The mathieu rumor picked up within the last 12 hours. Supposedly he also followed dallas on Twitter. I haven’t looked into it
More like a fart in the wind....I seriously doubt any of these guys are interested in coming here. Some smoke right now around these 3 in Dallas.
I know the Wagner talk has been mostly fake Twitter posts - but there has been some chatter recently with and having Quinn as your DC - surely helps that cause.
So let's say Jerry send his son away for a couple days and makes these moves. How would that change your outlook on the team for the next couple years OR are these guys gonna be past their prime, expensive FAs?
Personally, if Dallas could pull this off and sign all 3 - that allows you to go heavy in the draft on the offensive side of the ball - hopefully shoring up your Oline, TE and WR spots.
I do hesitate on Smith and his back, but HB and Wagner would be homeruns to me on a defense looking to take the next steps.
I think Quinn gets that rep because LOB were huge but I don’t think he’s turning down talent in size…..
Agents also generate a significant amount of fake rumors.
- They have relationships with media people and get them to link their clients to the Cowboys.
He never was in the pictureWith Kearse signing i think HB is out of the picture.
most guys come here to retire and collect a paycheck. shrugs. the cowboys, where nobody is expected to give 100 percent, just pick up a paycheck.More like a fart in the wind...I seriously doubt any of these guys are interested in coming here.
I say we don’t get one of these guys let alone all 3 lol
He has but when gameday comes its not 6'4 corners or safeties starting its Anthony Brown, Diggs and Jourdan Lewis.Well, since coming here he has added a 6-4 starting strong safety, 6-4 free safety and 6-4 corner, so I think the reputation is well-earned. It's just not the primary factor, especially at free safety where he's had some relatively short players.
You turning blue yet? Please don’t hold your breath.
You turning blue yet?
Wagners very interested and he might be on his way here stay tuned.More like a fart in the wind....I seriously doubt any of these guys are interested in coming here.
