We have a multitude of 5th picks in the draft which will put paid to all this Debbie Downer nonsense from these " so called" fans. At least a future ROH Line Backer and a replacement for Fredbeard will be drafted from these diamonds and all your fears over the team will miraculously disappear.
Really, the idea that you need to use FA along with the draft to build a SuperBowl team is just pish and nonsense.
Don't forget to stop off at the Cowboys shop on your way home y'all.
It is hard to tell if you are being sarcastic or do you really believe that free agents are not necessary?

We never try to better our team, so not a shocker. If they aint cheap we dont want them. We just sign our own players because the last 25 years has worked so well.

Better sign ol then. Do something. Getting 10 mil with Collins cut June 1. What plan do. Just not spend $$ and be under cap like a dummy?
I'm going to be pretty angry at this team if they don't spend the money. Here's why. Starting in 2019 Stephen made comments about the salary cap and Dak not taking more of his share "of the pie". Then we enter into 2 years of contract drama with Dak. Now he's signed and we have money under the cap and we're not using it. So..... why the Dak contract drama Stephen? Why the public comments about "there is a salary cap" if we have money and we don't spend it? With all the noise and drama surrounding the Dak contract that has divided this fanbase and it centered on the salary cap. Why are we under the cap and not spending money? It makes me truly believe that the Jones family liked the media attention Dak's contract got and used it so they would still be talked about nationally. Dak and the rest of the Cowboys is just another target that the Jones family uses to keep people talking about them because their behavior is not lining up with their words

Pure Narcissism!!!!

Wagner, Smith, and Miller all have warts that the front office was afraid to take on. Wagner Seattle defense has been falling apart for years. If he went to Dallas it would be all about getting paid. We all know how older players play once that get their cash in Dallas. Smith is the guy I wanted but Green Bay cut him and the Ravens low balled him for a reason. I actually think he will play ok in Minnesota but is a combination Armstrong/Fowler/draft pick not better then giving a free agent with a bad back 14 million. If the Cowboys were going to take a chance it should have been Miller but again is he better then Armstrong/Fowler/draft pick. We would be crying bloody murder if Miller lost a step or Smith’s back acted up. The reality the for the Cowboys is the defense will be led by Parsons and the secondary. If Joseph plays up to his talent, I like our chances.

Much rather have thrown that money at a pass rusher and drafted another LB, but this is predictable and not news. Stephen Jones will have free agents ignoring calls from Dallas in no time.

Nothing to see here.

I dont know why yhey havent talked to him unless they really are looking at a top end Lb in the draft maybe in the first.

If that's the case why bring back LVE?

At one point, I was looking forward to Jerry retiring or just going away. Now that he's leaving Stephen in charge, I hope Jerry lives forever and never retires unless of course he sells the team.

Drafting a LB early doesn't negate signing LVE. Cowboys are super thin at that position, you need 3 full time starters along with a decent 4th for rotational purposes

Parsons was really the only full time starter LB on the roster at the start of the league year. Even with drafting a 1st or 2nd rounder you still need Parsons, LVE, and hope that Jabril Cox can get some decent snaps as the 4th just behind whatever LB you draft early

Over the past 20 years, Stephen has learned the Cowboys will be immensely profitable regardless of whether or not they win. He manages the cap accordingly.

We are just gonna save the money till next year…..and the next year…..who knows. The front office doesn’t seem concerned with winning, they aren’t trying to upgrade even though they have the money.
