Whining about people whining contributes to the problem. I felt the drafting of Parsons was one of the best things yet. So did most of us.

it would be great if we took a page from the Rams, but we don't. we continue to make the wrong assessment and once in a while get lucky (Parsons). lets not forget the cowboys were keen on drafting one of the top two CBs and only drafted parsons when they weren't available and even traded down, so it tells me even the cowboys weren't 100% sold on Parsons, otherwise why take a risk.

they hand out large contracts for no reason to the likes of Lawrence (who for some reason got redone and gauranteed contract), hand out large unprecedented contracts and over pay for Zeke, Dak, etc, hand out a contract to Cooper, give up a first, give up 40M and then basicaly let go of Cooper. they botched the Gregory contract negotiations, the one player they identified as critical FA signing in off season.

so people/fan are frustrated with the GM/Owner because there doesn't seem to be any plan/ryhme/reason to their approach in team building. where you might say they might know more about some of these players than fans, the past 26 years prove otherwise.

so given 26 years of history, fans aren't hopeful or don't believe the management any longer.

just think, the cowboys were dialed into the top two CBs and if one was available, they would have passed on Parsons and taken one of them....that's how much they wanted parsons

Wow! I was way wrong! I thought there were a lot more fans on this site, unhappy about the Micah pick. My bad.

I should not have used the Micah pick as my example of extreme whining during this off season. There has been over the top whining too!!

Also, I don’t mind a difference of opinion at all. Some people on here have really well thought opinions. BUT, this offseason, once FA started there have been so many negative fans complaining about EVERYTHING with NO real facts to back it up. Just emotion!! I’m not about emotion, I’m about reason and logic. Also a bunch of trolls ( fans who love to be negative, they love to hate on every move the team makes, they would rather be right, than have a successful team ) are constantly stirring the negative pot.

My opinion: A team with our CAP space, and recent draft history, has plenty of time to make significant moves. Our most important move could come half way thru the season. Look how the Rams improved their team during the season( OBJ and Miller signed ) last year. Let things play out a little bit and have some reasoning behind your opinions.

Also, I think this coaching staff is capable of winning a Super Bowl. I did NOT think Garrett and his staff were, regardless of our talent. This is one reason I am willing to let things play out.
