Wow! I was way wrong! I thought there were a lot more fans on this site, unhappy about the Micah pick. My bad.

I should not have used the Micah pick as my example of extreme whining during this off season. There has been over the top whining too!!

Also, I don’t mind a difference of opinion at all. Some people on here have really well thought opinions. BUT, this offseason, once FA started there have been so many negative fans complaining about EVERYTHING with NO real facts to back it up. Just emotion!! I’m not about emotion, I’m about reason and logic. Also a bunch of trolls ( fans who love to be negative, they love to hate on every move the team makes, they would rather be right, than have a successful team ) are constantly stirring the negative pot.

My opinion: A team with our CAP space, and recent draft history, has plenty of time to make significant moves. Our most important move could come half way thru the season. Look how the Rams improved their team during the season( OBJ and Miller signed ) last year. Let things play out a little bit and have some reasoning behind your opinions.

Also, I think this coaching staff is capable of winning a Super Bowl. I did NOT think Garrett and his staff were, regardless of our talent. This is one reason I am willing to let things play out.

A lot of reasonable points made here and kudos to you for admitting being wrong about the Parsons pick approval.

How did that turn out?

Most of you will continue to whine and cry about every move, or non move, EVERY team in the league makes. I would suggest let Free Agency and the draft play out before whining about EVERYTHING.

The Rams were building their team throughout the season. Maybe we will take a page from the Rams. Not saying that, but am saying, the constant whining is for children.
Honestly...I have no problem with what we have done. We let a couple of turds walk in free agency....maybe didn't get enough for Cooper..
But he's one less guy pouting on the sideline. His production can be replaced.

….which would be a whine-fest rather than a whine-feast. Of course it’s just semantics but would you rather attend a sausage-fest or a sausage-feast?…..hint, don’t go to the first one

Well, I'm gay, so either works.

I was referring to LC not Connor Williams, but either way.

I agree with your take in any event. I expect us to starting bringing in some players, and many of them we will like, at least to an extent. We aren't going into the draft with 30 million to burn and a bunch of holes on the roster.

I do too, and I feel we must go online early, preferably round 1. Nothing we draw up for the offense matters if the oline is worse than a revolving door at an airport.

Micah was my guy. I was thrilled we got him and now....words cannot describe how much I appreciate 11 being on that field. Kinda guy that can elevate an entire team, Ray Lewis type attitude with superior talent. Love it!

Accusing people of whinnying while whinnying about it.:lmao:
You don’t understand the difference between complaining, and giving logical reasons why you are complaining, and just whining about EVERYTHING, and not giving any logical reasons why?

There is a huge difference.

I’ll admit to being one of the people against it at the time. I was wrong. But I presented reasons for my thinking as I always do. This thread was based on a false narrative.
The thread was based on all the whining, so early in FA about EVERYTHING, with plenty of time to improve the team. Using Micah’s pick was a bad example to use, for the whining though.

Why defend ineptitude? 26 years. Tampa signs players and wins SB. LA signs and trades and wins SB. Cowboys are stubborn and think they can outdraft and out manage the other teams…..hasn’t worked out well….

I was excited about getting Parsons because Shannon Sharpe was raving about him. Say what you will about Sharpe but he has some evaluation skills. He said that Parsons was going to be special.

The real truth about the great ones is that they will show you immediately why they are going to be great. Parson's quickness, football I.Q., and physicality became apparent Day #1 in training camp per "Hard Knocks".

All that Parsons needs to do from a leadership standpoint is exactly what he did. That's the definition of leadership, you are the guy in front of everybody else. You are the only one not looking at the back of someone else's head. How could they not follow him? To get where they want to go as individual players and as a team they have no choice but to follow behind the guy that can get there the quickest.

Leaders are said to be inspirational, charismatic and innovative. However, those are the descriptions given to them only after they have led their team to success. Prior to that, they are not as popular. In fact, they are often resented. Why? Because a true leader forces you to give more than you were previously willing to give. How does he do this?

Think of an Olympic race. The last place guy always continues to run his hardest even after the winner has crossed the line. Why? Because if he doesn't, then that leader will create a gap so wide in their performances that people no longer wonder if the last place guy will ever win a race. Instead, they begin to wonder if that guy even deserved to be in the race.

Notice, a leader doesn't have to say or do anything else different than doing what he does. That alone, pushes his teammates to get better.

I’m not defending ineptitude. This is a new coaching staff. I am willing to let FA and the draft play out, before I complain about EVERYTHING they do, unlike a bunch of whiners on here. At least have a decent reason why your whining!

Also, the trolls( they live to bash the team about EVERYTHING, would rather lose games and be right than win, pathetic) on here love whining. They feed off of it.

I don’t love whining, I’m just frustrated with the team having opportunities to improve and not taking them. All this cap space….and our roster is basically worse. They don’t need to be the Rams, but damn, it’s ok to make a move here or there. Could have picked a quality rusher and had decent cap space to spare, go into draft with less need, golden opportunity with all the cap space they made.

The whining is from the same 15 ***holes that live to complain. Just think of what their family has to put up with.
