Tyreek Hill is a [NUCLEAR WEAPON] that I would love to see in a Cowboys uniform.; But I can't see paying a WR $30Million when there are so many holes to fill.

Dallas was down that road already. Our GM paid Cooper $100 million to take us farther in the playoffs. How did that pan out? I'll wait!

IT isnt 30 million lol.
he is scheduled to make 26 mil in 22 which includes signing bonus his cap hit for 22 is 6.4 mil
23 cap hit is 31 mil
24 is 25 mil
25 is 28 mil
26 is 50 mil, but they can avoid this by cutting him with only 5 mil cap hit. So that is probably the plan,

The 23 cap hit could be lowered with a restructure.

I had thought his contract was 72 mil, but that was the G money lol.
only 52 is G if they cut him in march of 24. that is when 2nd part of G money kicks in.

I am going to laugh at you guys when lamb gets a bigger contract than this when his time comes up .

that isnt why cooper was hired lol, he was to help dak and offense get out of the slump they were in.
He did that.
Then came kellen and mike, and they are the ones that killed the teams chances in playoffs. Cooper is a different type wr also.
I think tyrek is just what dak and dallas needed, but they blew it.

too small, shaky could never see or find him. The only way the baby dak could get him the ball is by handing it off to him. hard nope. get a different QB, heck even Rush could see and find it.

I would not give a 28 year old WR 4 years 120 million. Or at minimum, 3 years 90M.

Speaking of the Cowboys game, every time I saw Hill makes plays, Anthony Brown was covering him. That's just not right.

No.

I'd have kept Cooper and offered Gallup a 1 year prove it deal. And still signed a guy like wash and draft a guy. Gotta move CD and Cooper all over the formation not just keep them in the same spot, let each exploit some matchups. If they really thought CD was that good they'd have been doing this.

Nope.
Nay.
Nah.
Negative.
Naw.

The cost was too high. And we have our own problems to deal with. We still need long term solutions at LG, RT, TE, DT, FS, RDE, and LB. So we need all the picks we can get our hands on....plus the money to sign those picks.

So I take it...your kid looks like Dak. And Dak use to deliver milk to your house when he was in college.

Miami feels like they have the defense to contend and just need playmakers on offense. So fine. It makes sense for them. We had 3 high caliber wrs last year couldn't win a playoff game. Adding another WR at high cost would make no sense at all..

Our OC would not have utilized him correctly. Would have him running all the same routes the other guys run.

So no I am glad he did not come to the Cowboys.

I’d rather have the 5 draft picks including multiple premium picks and 30m$ in cap space.

He has a good schtick, is a deep threat, but he’s not a consistent enough receiver to demand 30m$ AAV. His last 1300 yard season was 4 years ago. Who hear thinks Pat Mahomes will disappear without Tyreek Hill? And who thinks Tyreek Hill is gonna be the same receiver with Tua?

He’s good, but he’s not that good.

If the Cowboys got Tyreek he would be suspended immediately for the incidents with his pregnant girlfriend and breaking his son’s arm.:(

No I don't believe the end would justify the means.

A lot of money and a lot of draft picks at a position where we have some decent players already.
CD lamb is only 22 years old Hill is 28 that's 6 years it's a significant difference in age.
I'm also not fully convinced that we have the offense of coordinator that could get the most out of him.
We have to fix the trenches first nothing will work without that getting done

Last year Dallas struggled on 3rd and 4th downs in short yardage situations. I don't think they need to spend massive cap on a WR. They should invest in the Oline. That would improve the team more.

Ok lets say jerry put you in charge of cowboys 2 weeks ago, would you have tried to get hill?
This includes that jerry wanted amari gone regardless.
Also I dont know hill , but whether I like him or not, I know his value to a team. So that is what is important
if your a GM.

Hill is a dynamic WR, one of the fastest wr, and importantly he is good at catching a short to midrange pass
and getting yac, breaking a big run off a short pass.

This is what dak needs, more than a guy who can run deep passes, as dak is 50 50 on those longer passes.

you can use hill on a reverse, in backfield, short, medium , and long.

He is also good at clearing areas, and getting dbl covered to clear a area for another wr.

He would have been perfect for Dak.

And if I had to trade lamb to get picks back, I would then trade lamb.

Hill is by far better than lamb.

So jones boys made no effort or try to get him, is that stupid? If you try and fail, thats ok, and I dont
mean stephen low balling hill lol.

I was just watching the kc dallas game , and KC is going to miss hill, they were stupid to not resign him.
and I cant believe Miami of all teams got him ! So many teams besides dallas blew a chance at one
of the best wr in the nfl.
not a good idea. I think your eye test fails you. go see the stats about deep passes and you will get an idea. its easy to just see the bad stuff if that's what you are looking for.

the failures of the cowboys aren't just Dak, not saying he doesn't have a hand in it, but OL, Moore, Zeke, MM all have contributed to the struggles.

No. Hell no!

Cost too much draft capital and too much $$$.

The Cowboys aren't one player away.

To say nothing of reading the tea leaves and knowing which way the winds are blowing.

The smarter teams like Kansas City and Green Bay know that good, young, cheap wide receivers are pouring into the league every year. And they’re gaining draft assets to get guys under cheap contracts for years.

Let the dummies overpay in both draft picks AND cap space.
