If we really wanted him, which we don't. If you sit around waiting for him to get cut some other team that wants him could trade for him and beat us to the punch.
I get that but it’s Davante Parker. He’s not better than Lamb or Gallup so are we really afraid of being outbid on a #3 receiver?

Davante Parker has never started 16 games in a season….has one 1k receiving season under his belt……yikes….

I would offer a 5th in a heartbeat. He’s a VERY underrated receiver. Pass on drafting a receiver in the draft. I would probably try to extend him to a deal in the range of what he is currently making. If he doesn’t take it, that’s fine. You will get a comp pick for him next year—and if not you can re-sign him cheap.

I'd rather have Malik Turner back. Like you said Parker is not better than our starters. So the question is can he accept a backup role if he comes here?
Parker is a better receiver than anyone we have other than CeeDee and he might end up being better than CeeDee.

Yeah that's the type of WR Dak needs.

He can't utilize speedsters but a guy like Parker makes sense

Sammy Watkins might be a better option and is available.

- Watkins is Not a better option, imo.
Tools but he has so many holes and flaws in his game.
Interesting that Cowboys reportedly coveted Watkins and tried to sign him once Dez was cut.
And more interesting is how Watkins never even close to playing up as a No.2 to Tyrek Hill despite that huge contract received by Chiefs.

- Parker once schooled pre-ACL Stephen Gilmore, even when they did not have top quality QB.

- We're Not going back into the WR free agency again, until maybe post-draft if anything.
