They both are around the same age with only a decade or two left max. Which one brings a SB to their organization first?
Ross 100% .
Jerry Jones is a moron of epic proportion’s. No words can encapsulate how much I detest that man. He has forever tainted this glorious organization.

It wasnt perfect but it was still among the best drafts in team history. Many teams blew it with Rodgers.

Don't forget we had the secret weapon that was Tony Romo that no one else knew about at the time!

That draft allowed Parcells to convert to the 34 in an instant.

The rest of his drafts were not so special.

Oh I know it was a good draft. I'm just saying that was an odd thing to do considering who our QB was. It would be like the Patriots passing on Mac Jones when he fell to 15. I'm sure the Sith Lord didn't expect him to be there.

I can recall that draft day but I don't recall why Rodgers wasn't at all an option for us.

Because he really wasn't something that was in our thought process.

Maybe it was Drew Henson. I can't really recall.

I think we just signed Bledsoe to a multi year contract. And Parcells really likes defense. He won two SBs with average to above average QBs and a really good D. Got to a SB with Drew Bledsoe. So I think it was all him.

All this is hindsight. Had Spears been as good, or close to as good as Ware, that would have been a sight to see. But he missed on Spears.

Ross appears to be willing to spend to upgrade his team while Jerry and Stephen think less is more.

Well it's been well reported that Parcells wanted Spears where they took Ware, and Jerry overruled him.

Got Spears anyway later. Who knows HOW much that gave Jerry the idea that he could do this well?

Now THAT'S an interesting what if thought.

Or maybe Tuna was let go before he could turn Spears into a player?

Speaking of Twitter, the Kool Aid is flowing with Cowboys fans. "It's gonna be the best draft in 10 years and we're going to the Super Bowl."

Folks just keep setting themselves up for disappointment, continuing to have faith in this failed front office structure. "This is our year!"
Hope springs eternal...
