I like Pollard for what he is- one of the best change of pace backs in the NFL. We shouldn't oversell him though. I don't think he'll have the same success as the main cow bell back.

If we run him as our main every down back y'all will turn on him faster than you turned on Zeke and we'll have wasted another talent.

agree.

P is great on those outside C gap runs.

But he doesn’t have the power for A/B gap runs.

and he can’t pass block.

he’s also UFA after the season.

To be fair, Barkley plays on an awful roster; but I’m not trying to take anything away from Pollard, he should be our starting RB

Fans AND MEDIA JUST DONT GET IT.. players like Zeke and SB are game planned for by their team and by defenses when they are in the backfield they are key target and with more carries etc. into the teeth of waiting defenses its far different for the backup to come in and be fresh and unexpected plays give them better YPC averages or bigger paly here or there

ITS NOT THE SAME AND NEVER WILL BE..MOST BACKUPS WHO HAD SUCESS WHEN THEY BECOME THE STARTER HAD BIG DROP OFF..

the overhype for the backup has always been there and almost has never came to fruition. Pollard is not a starter and while hes earned more carries, hes not the talent of zeke or Barkley. Who have been staters from HSsthe nfl and been targets their entire career and succeeded.

Barkley isn't the same since the ACL, dunno if he will ever be back to that previous form.
His recent numbers are reflected upon the time he missed and role he has now because of his injuries.

- And injuries have really plagued him the last 3 years, (high ankle, torn ACL, bad foot sprain, etc) He does/will go thru injury issues with his wheels and he's another one that needs his touches shared.

- At his top game and healthiest, there was no comparison with Pollard vs Barkley.
Both have game breaking home run burst- but we did not see tacklers just sliding and bouncing off and being difficult to corral with Pollard as we did pre-ACL Barkley.

- Also totally different run skills- run style. Barkley has a stop and-re-start mode to his game,
Pollard is a one cut runner.

Right, too bad some choose to close their eyes to this.
I like Pollard but he is not a full time RB.

Moore has his plays for Pollard, and seem to work a good part of the time. Those times he runs him up the middle, he does not have as much of success.

Unfortunately. Idiot Moore, has his plays for Zeke also. Run all the inside plays to Zeke when there is a stacked box, and back up OL. Over and over, regardless of the results.

Zeke will continue to be our bell cow. This is one of the many issues with our front office. There is no way that Zeke should be touching the football more then Pollard.

Disagree. You do know Zeke was playing injured almost all last season don't you?

Pollard is the big travesty over the last 3 years. And I suspect he will be another casualty this year as they continue to feature the wrong RB. Pollard simply blows Zeke away in his ability to run the ball, catch passes, and make plays.
