They signed Goff to a "big" contract. They signed Gurley to a "big" contract. They went to a Super Bow...lost...and said we have to get better! Moved/released Goff and Gurley. Added Stafford...added Patrick Ramsey...added OBJ...added Von Miller....went back to the Super Bowl...their 2nd in 5 years...and are re-loading to go back-to-back. I guess the Rams have different salary cap rules and a different set of rules on how to manage draft picks than the rest of the NFL. Oh...and they opened a new stadium that is better than one we built. You do remember the state of the art stadium that we built right? The one that our owner declared would give our players these "super powers" to take and destroy on all comers. WE ARE A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wagner and Allen Robinson are upgrades over miller and obj. The punter isn't a huge deal. They're loaded for another run

I'm with ya but Left Tackle Whitworth is pretty big loss though. Don't know their depth well enough to say if they had a left tackle on their roster that they were already grooming to replace Whitworth.

They had every excuse to mail it in too.
No doubt, but
They have a duel window with Donald and Stafford
They will do everything in their power to capitalize

I think this is why Rodgers was a bit disappointed in Green Bay.
They had him, but rarely made big moves to help

NFC is down.

Outside of the Packers, Rams and Bucs it’s wide open. Who knows if somebody like Rodgers goes down what happens.
Agree to disagree. They are mailing in this next year. Mike McCarthy is coaching his last year as the HC.
We are not winning the SB next year. Then this becomes a "bad contract".

Pass rush suffers, which was the key to them winning the SB.

They also traded Woods.

They have no draft, I can't emphasize this enough.

The Rams have championship potential.

The Cowboys don't.

Simple.
Yes but they THINK they do and still behave this way while others are going wild to get better.

What does that say?

I don't know how you can say that?

First, the offseason isn't done yet.
2nd, We still have a ton of talent on this team.
3, our defense can take another step this year.

We have a chance and the potential to win a Super Bowl. If the Bengals can make it there, we can.

Potential …

They just won the super bowl, reloaded. Absolutely shocked if they don’t win it again

Same can be said for Von Miller.

Both of these players went to teams going for the gold and there are inherent risks but I would rather have a team taking risks and failing than not taking any risk at all.

Neither Knonke nor Snead said they would do anything to win another Superbowl and then did very little. They let their off season positioning speak for them.

The Cowboys do not play the game the same way and that's not to say the way the Rams are playing it will deliver another ring but to the Rams fans, they know their team isn't waiting for anything. They are on full power to return to the Big Dance.

There was no risk signing Miller. It was basically a one year deal which is why he is now in Buffalo. This is a 5 year deal which will have consequences for years if Wagner can't play up to it. I guess they don't see a decline in skill.

No question the Rams are run differently. Their owners don't meddle in football affairs b/c they understand their expertise is not football. The Jones boys are a whole other ball of wax incapable of introspection and humility. Because of Jimmy Johnson's early success, Jerry truly believes, in spite of 26 years of evidence to the contrary, that he can build a team. I get it. Ten years ago, I spent an afternoon playing golf with Fred Couples who shot a 65. He made golf look so easy and effortless that I was convinced I too could shoot a 65 if I just tried hard enough. The greats make it look easy. 10 years later, I'm nowhere close to shooting 65. But b/c I saw it done up close and personal by a guy that looked no different than me, I still think in the my back of my head that I can do it. Jerry is the same way. He got a front row seat to the Jimmy Johnson show and ever since, he truly believes that its easy and he can do it.

Looks like a big NFC battle between the Rams and Bucs, but its only theory right now.

The AFC on the other hand….total dogfight

This is why I disagree not going all in this season.

You could find yourself in the NFC Championship in a down year with an above average roster

Yes, because our defense didn't get any help from any of our rookies last year...lol

Imagine if Cox didn't get hurt...he looked like he would have kept getting better and better last year.
