Are we setting ourselves up to get fleeced in a trade?

I know Jerry Jones has to be antsy after all the big time free agents are essentially gone. If these rookies don't play out of their mind and with a season possibly spiraling down the drain, I possibly see Jerry willing to pony up and make some blockbuster trades and give away 2 or 3 firsts. I would hope not, but if we don't do something soon or have the best draft in cowboys history, it's possibly setting the stage for such a thing. What do you think?

I doubt 2-3 first but I wouldn’t be shocked if he made another cooper type deal if the offense struggles
The problem with those deals is they generally are guys at the end of a contract so not only do you lose a first but then have to sign them
Though one could argue using a first or trading away a first aren’t much different
But if the offense struggles early I could see him panic and make a move

Stephen seems to able to keep Jerry from doing major blunders.
Really we don't make many major moves anymore

If we can run the ball it hides some of the weakness at WR

I don't know if the Cowboys will be looking at any major trades down the road, I actually doubt it, but this I am 100% certain of.....if they do, Jerry and Sonny Boy WILL get fleeced!

Yeah I think we can tread water for the time that Gallup is out if Zeke is healthy and the offensive line can block. Also depends who we play those first three weeks.
