Every year is a new year with new opportunities. And it doesn't take a genius to

Only a homer will think like you. You create your own opportunities. Our clueless FO has never and will never build another SB team in Dallas. Look up the definition of insanity. You may already know the definition since you’re a genius. Your logic leads me to believe you are clueless.

I look toward the future and see hope. You look at the pass and see dismay. That's your personal choice. It's hard for someone to see a brighter future if they don't have leadership skills and problem solving skills. Just saying.

I'd say it too. Don't let the 0 for preseason fool you into thinking......"we're saving our guys" too.

I am literally astonished to find that there are fans out there that think this was a good off-season.
Seriously I understand the need to have something to believe in with this team, not wanting to throw this year away all that quickly, but we lost players and added nothing of substance.
Look we could possibly still make some noise as we still have a few good players, but I believe it will be more by blind luck than by talent management.

I've been right there with you for years. However, after this off-season I can't say the same. If we were building towards something wouldn't now he the time to strike? Instead we've punted on 3rd down, and I have lost any remaining faith in this FO. I don't know how we can expect to be better having lost the guys we did with only a plan of rebuilding through the draft. We needed one more push to get past the NFC and we chose to sit on our hands.

Oh really let's take a look...
1. Resigned Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn = Win
2. Reworked Lawrence's contract = Win
3. Franchised Schultz because they had to because of Jarwin's injury = Win
4. Got rid of a penalty feast of an O-line in Connor Williams = Win
5. Resigned a two solid safeties in Wilson and Kearse = Win
6. Traded Cooper who is injured a lot, disappears in road games, and they save cap space = Win
7. Let a headcase in Gregory walk who get more offside penalties than sacks =Win
8. Restructured both Dak Prescott and Zack Martin's contracts to save 22 million in cap space =Win
9. Let go of an aging kicker who misses a lot of chip shots = Win
So if this is a horrible off season then I'd love to see what a good offseason looks like because so far they've made a lot of changes for the better.
Agree, and we haven't had the draft yet to get some new blood onto the roster. I think the off season has been mostly positive so far, for the reasons you mentioned and more.

Man the Jones family really have you brainwashed. This offseason has been a disaster. Lost talent. Did not replace talent. Did not even attempt to sign anyone in free agency.

How long are you going to fall for the same song and dance?

Quit celebrating mediocrity.

This makes very little sense. Last year the team overachieved in the first half, most fans were expecting 7-8 wins. I think this year the come back to the normal 8 wins. The team was really average last year they got the turnover boost along with Dan the first 5 games, he was never the same after the NE game. Even then the team would work really hard against average teams.
Last year was a false hope this team has gotten worse in terms of talent. If we draft another Micah then come back.

It's that time of the year when we make all kinds of premature judgments on what the coming season might entail.
Let's wait and watch for more evidence before getting upset and/or optimistic about our outlooks for 2022.

Let's face it; it's entirely possible and, surely, quite probable that more additions will be made for the 2022 season.

You trust this front office to draft? I wish I had your optimism.
The Micah Parsons pick was ok. Dak was OK as a 4th rounder. Gallup was ok as a 3rd rounder. Schultz was ok as a 4th rounder... yes, we've had a lot of misses, but Every other team has misses too...

Sadly, this is likely due to the fact that people have been feed a narrative that going all is will set you back for years to come. It has been proven time and again that teams can get out from any contract in the league, but people still blindly believe this. And even if there was true, who wouldn't take that chance to win one, even at the cost of several bad years in a row. That's the current recipe to rebuild anyway.

Exactly. . . Why did they restructure Dak's contract?

For what?

This isn't a celebration more like factual evidence and just for the record nobody has me brainwashed because I always tell it like I see it, ALWAYS!
