Fisher must be severely intoxicated to suggest us trading for DK Metcalf -- we'd be obliged to jettison half of our offense to accomplish that. :omg:

Yeah, right, Fisher -- I'm sure Stephen and Jerry would jump at the opportunity to do that. Of course, it would also lead to Jerry's sure heart attack!

Doubt it....Are you giving Lamb and DK major contracts in a couple years? Then you have to think about Diggs, Dak, Parsons, etc....Doesn't make sense to make the deal unless you are prepared to extend him. I'm not sure the Cowboys can.

We traded away a real good receiver for a fifth round pick. It would be a stupid move to trade away what would likely be a premium draft pick or two for another receiver who’s going to want to be paid. No way do I see Jerry and Stephen making that move. They’ll draft a receiver.

If we draft a WR it will be with one of the 5ths.
Too many other priorities for early allocations.

I think we’ll draft one higher than that. We may be starting the season with a pretty lack luster receiving core if Gallup misses the first few games of the season. Not having Cooper and Cedrick Wilson has taken a sizable chunk from what was a very talented receiving group. Hopefully it doesn’t end up being such a problem during the regular season that it forces us to make a trade. We definitely have bigger priorities but our WR group is concerning.
