Are Dak's Problems Mostly Mental or Physical?

Oh, I'm sure if Dak had Brady's teams he would have won seven SB. That is essentially what you are trying to get at.

You're so transparent from our last convo that I know just what you are all about.

If you think that it's on you because I have said nothing of the kind. I have stated repeatedly on this very site that Dak came in the league far behind QBs who played in passing and/or pro-style offenses. That INCLUDES Brady. Brady played in a pro-style offense at Michigan and having never been much of an athlete always had to hone his passing skills to a tee. Dan Mullen used Dak as a throwing fullback for much of his time at MSU and it showed in his mechanics coming into the league and it still shows up from time to time. So to me that clearly states that had Dak landed on those same teams in the early 2000s that Brady did he absolutely could not have won the same number of championships early on. But as he matured to the level he is playing at now? I think he could have pulled down one or two rings with that level of defensive backing.. not to mention extremely high level coaching.

Yeah it absolutely comes down to what you can do when things are "right." But go look up the number of playoff wins Brady got while scoring 20 points or less. I think you would be amazed..
5.

5 out of 34 playoff wins occurred when a Brady lead team scored 20 or less.

I am not amazed. At all.

I guess I should have been more clear.. the telling fact is how many such wins some other QBs had..

Rodgers - 0
P. Manning - 3
Ruthlessraper - 3
E. Manning - 2
Warner - 0

Obviously the two that really stick out are Rodgers and Warner. Those guys pretty much went into playoff games with a score 30 or go home mentality.

Two of Brady's wins came in Super Bowls.. What's interesting is that 4 of them happened in his first 4 seasons as the starter.. The fifth was the Super Bowl against the Rams. The Pats went 4-0 in games while scoring 20 points or less in those playoff runs. What that tells me is that very early in his career he was very much helped by the defense. Then as he matured into the QB that he would become, that obviously became less of the case. Though he did look pretty pathetic against the Rams later on as well as against that Giants pass rush both times. But a great pass rush neuters every QB that ever lived. So that was not really any surprise.

Opinions on Dak and his issues/limitations are irrelevant.

We are married to him for 3-4 years thanks for our front office. They bet the house on him and have now taken out a second mortgage lol…

Maybe success finds us in the third decade of the Jones regime?

Both. He looked really good in the first half of the year. That injury scared him. He was getting confidence back in the leg when the injury happened. He was afraid to run for a while and his throws were way off at times. All QB throw the occasional flop. But he was way off in some games. Not pushing off with the leg. This offseason will do him a lot of good.

Dak has 3 big issues:
Finally an honest evaluation of Dak's skill set

1. A poor blocking Oline that is penalty stricken

Awwwwww

2. A slow and over the hill RB that is being forced as a major part of the offense

Boo- hooo - hooo

3. Substandard play calling that hasnt been able to adjust.

The agony . . the agony

Thats it really. If they can somehow fix #1 the offense should get back to be an elite unit.

Thats it. . . so basically Dak has no issues . . . he is just a victim of circumstance . . .

Wow

That extremely high level coaching never would have had a throwing Full back as. A QB

When a retired David Carr causes your throws to end up in a circumference of a Gatling Gun, I'd say it's both mental and physical.

The Dak worshippers hate this video. Some on here still say he’s Dak’s an accurate passer. Never has been…never will be.
