We aren’t in the mix with Dak as QB. Defense played well enough to win at home against SF. If JG didn’t gift that awful INT in scoring territory, it would have looked even worse.

We would have been in the mix with last years roster and a legit QB.

This team was close before the offseason. But unlike in the 1990s when they got Haley and Deion get the team over the hump, this year they retreated. I get what Eatman is saying. Why not get aggressive when they were so close. They struck gold drafting Parsons. They should have built on that but instead they decided to dump talent from the roster. If this team went out and got themselves a DT and a LG and kept guys like Cooper, Haley and Collins, they might be good enough to compete for a Superdowl next year.

I am not saying they should not have traded Cooper but what I would say is don't trade or cut anyone if it makes your team worse.

The thread title made me think of this for some reason…

This team was close last year. Overrated players don't win 12 games.

11 of those 12 wins came against teams with 8 or more losses. The other was against 10-7 New England.

They beat two playoff teams all season, both of whom got blown out in the WC round, then bowed out at home against the 3rd place team from the NFC West.

Paper tigers, unfortunately.

Eatman has rarely if ever talked about fantasy football so obviously you don't know what you're talking about. Just cause he works at the Star doesn't mean him and the other writers (other than Micky) are beholden to the team, they ask for coaches to be fired all the time

Nick called it exactly the way it is. Instead of going along to get along, he talked about the here and now. THE FANS ARE PISSED. He gets it.

its refreshing 2 see a media member actually tell the truth here in Dallas, let alone, anywhere.

It's pretty wild.

This is the most aggravated I have seen this fan base and media in .... well. Ever
