Ok I looked at who dallas plays, and I see 6 games they probably lose.
I know there is still the draft, but I dont think they draft anyone who will impact 2022.

the losses
Indianapolis Colts
at Green Bay Packers
at Tennessee Titans
Cincinnati Bengals
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Los Angeles Rams

possible losses
at Jacksonville Jaguars (depends on when they play them , and if their qb plays)
they knocked colts out of the playoff race, so they got something, and now new coaches.
more top draft picks too.

one or 2 nfce games.
Dallas I dont think will sweep the div again, so at least 1 loss, maybe 2.

I will say 9-8 to 11-6 or in the middle, 10-7

This exercise is as ridiculous as anyone complaining about the offseason before we even have the draft.

Heck if we draft a WR in the first round all these Cooper cry babies will start talking about winning the SB again.

11-6.

We get six easy victories in our own division. But we go 5-6 outside of our division. We win in the wildcard round. But lose in the divisional round, on a bad call by the refs. Typical Dallas.

Pappydogg you are always talking about some one being a homer or nuthugger or some other derogatory term

But you are Nutts . 8-9 LOL you crazy . You want to be right sooooo bad that you are willing to post something dumb like that.

I don't usually read your post as they are repetitive and add nothing to my day and I will get back to my usual patterns.

I just had to say you are one delusional Mutha.............. Well you know
You are an embarrassment to Cowboy fans everywhere.

Draft LOL.....even Micah fell into our lap as both CB were off the board.
Jerry Drunk on his Yacht making picks.....yep Superbowl here we come!!!
Actually it is all about the board they make up, and how they rate the players.
As a general rule they take the highest rated player on the board at the time of the pick.

Sure wish we could see their board and other teams too, even after the draft.

Shouldn't we first predict the draft, additional veteran free agents, season ending injuries, potential controversies, new covid strains, and suspensions?
not really, you can always change your prediction later after draft, or if they add someone in FA . Injuries and suspensions can pop up anytime, even right before season starts.

The draft is important, not just who dallas gets , but the other east teams, and teams on our schedule this season.

not really, dallas got 1 player in the draft last year that made a impact, parsons, who they got at #10
this season they pick at 24, big difference. they will be lucky to get 1 player again who is an impact in 22.

the key in the draft is how the other nfce teams do as they all have higher and more draft picks.

I dont see where our draft is so good then we stand a better chance of winning the tough games listed.
guys dallas draft usually dont play the first season.

Not in the least. Parsons was amazing. Osa also had a big impact.

then factor in all the 2nd and 3rd year guys stepping up like Diggs. Makes a huge difference. Just like all these young guys will continue to get better. And having Quinn and his defense for anther season will certainly help.

I would expect Joseph to start at corner this year and possibly wright getting some PT. Cox may be starting this year or having a bigger role on defense.

Look at all the guys we signed in FA that were "bargain guys" that made a huge difference. Most of the safeties, Shultz stepped up big time.

But I dont bother arguing much with you doom and gloom guys. The fact that you guys cry before the draft is even over tells me all I need to know. And if you think we are winning the SB next year, you will be disappointed again. Chances are low.

Cowboys need to fix one big problem and thats the Oline. They dont fix that and Ill be right there with you saying we have little chance. But I will wait until after the offseason to see how that shakes out.

Looks about right. Those will also be the games we either can't move the ball all game, or are playing catch up in the 2nd half. We also have a decent shot at beating one of those teams in week 1 or week 2. Those are pretty much toss up weeks. A gamblers nightmare.

Typical Jones twins year , they will fire meathead Mike after , Quinn will go 9-8,8-9,7-10, 8-9 then fired , rinse and repeat over and over and over.

It’s way too early to make these predictions but I guess it’s an off-season tradition.
History makes it crystal clear-
  • The Cowboys haven’t had back to back playoff seasons in 15 years. (06 and 07 was the last)
  • The Cowboys haven’t won the division back to back since 1994-95. Let that sink in.
  • The Cowboys haven’t had back to back double digit winning seasons since 1995 and 1996. Ouch.
Right now as a student of Cowboys history, I will have to say I see no more than 9 wins, no playoffs or division win. Hope I’m wrong.

We’re all just speculators here, but I think despite our problems, we’re a better team than Jacksonville, and I honestly don’t see us any worse than 5-1 against the NFCE. I also think Tampa will take a slight step back. 10-12 wins.
We wont be as bad as most of us believe we will be, more teams than most are paying attention to have had losses at some level as well.
Its the average NFL, and average teams win SBs these days with a little luck and good coaching.
We just havent had much luck, but at least Quinn gives us some improvement on coaching, that I do believe is solid.
Quinn with just a few more pieces I really believe can transcend this defense quickly, and while I try and remain patient and hopeful, when I see BWs getting passed on for happy cap price, I cant deny that I get a bit nauseated.
Thats the stuff that just is perplexing when you sitting on enough cap that you can even overpay BW, was he really just in love with LA that much?
Or just business as usual in Jerry land.
We franchised Schults, who I have endorsed, but cap allocation wasnt even an issue and we paying Schults easily BW money, and we got change to spare but still not a player in the BW game?
Thats the stuff that just baffles me, when I know the reason all along and just get tired of constantly bashing the FO. :banghead:
