Cowboys and Steelers from 2016 what a fun game to watch.

That team gave me a lot of hope very cool watching Dak and Zeke as rookies coming into the league. Along with one of the best offensive lines I think we ever had in franchise history.

Yep those were two players you could sure count on we had Leary then too and I really liked him.
That team seemed totally invigorated by the youth of Dak and Zeke and really wanted to win.

Garrett does suck, though.

It’s unfortunate the defense broke down in the playoffs once again. That’s been a sad theme with the good teams the Cowboys have bad.

Zeke took a screen pass like 80 yards to the house

The Cowboys were 7-1 coming into this game, and hadn't allowed more than 23 points in any of those 8 games.

That wasn't a coincidence, for those sucked into the If you had it to do all over with Romo and Dak in 2016 thread fantasyland.

Green Bay scored 34 in that playoff game. Dallas scored 31. The Cowboys have NEVER won a playoff game when conceding 30+ points.

That's not a coincidence either.

I watched it, it was a fun game to watch. It was great watching that OL. It was great seeing Fredbeard in action again.

Man what a young and powerful team. We were just a couple players away on defense from making some noise that year.

I'm going to say if we had drafted and had Dontari Poe on that defense instead of mostly injured Claiborne it could have taken us over the hump

Watching Tyron Smith back then vs now is an eye opener. But Leary was a big difference too. He could run block as good as anyone on the line. That was the kind of offensive line we could only hope for today. There is so much work to do on the OL now.
