Zero chance. The team is just average. Zero, Zero, chance.
It's not as much about actually winning as much as who gets the credit for being a football guy.

The Rams are fighting over this as we speak.

Jerry Jones and his ego are a joke.

Arrogantly thinking they are great is just ridiculous and I'm not entirely sure how they continue to get away with it.

Tick tock Jerry....in a few ways.

took philly 60 years to win ONE
took KC 50 years to get back to another
took cinci 31 years to get back to one and not sure but wasnt it their 1st and only one sb win?

thats a few examples of why fans need to be patient.

ridiculous every moment this place takes to say that tired narrative yet drool over the other teams who've had far longer droughts and FAR less titles..Jerry has 3 in his 31 year ownership so he got some credit. built up with fans who dont overreact knowing you just have to support your team until they get another.

those are just droughts current and all time we aren't on one list and far down another..that not take into account our Team history has 5 sb titles and what 8 appearances?

It's not the lack of SB wins that is the problem here. Everybody understands how hard it is to win a SB in the NFL. The problem is the lack of even an NFCCG appearance since the 1995 season. And not even winning it. Just being able to get there.

That's not a drought. That is complete and absolute FAIL as a franchise.

And they all deserve to be heavily criticized as a franchise for that FAIL.

It's the way we continue using the same model, giving expensive overrated second contracts and then compounding it by restructuring which results in Dead and ineffectual CAP money just to get by (as the team's continually made up of JAGS).

The light at the end of the tunnel is that at last we're drawing a line .....though the Gregory fiasco has all the hallmarks of Jerry still wanting to pay "his guy" (if he really saw DE and pass rushing as crucial he would have gone Plan B as: Miller, Smith, Jones or Wagner(Micah permanent DE).

As we laud our draft I like the idea of pushing those recent high picks, lets work out NOW if they're worth building around, rather than in the contract year.

On free agency, wait until we've drafted (it WILL be a LG in 1st or 2nd), most positions still have decent upgrades available.

......accept we urgently need a GM not called Jones and someone who's strong enough to say "No Jerry".

theres no problem unless you make it mission to keep harping on narrative thats 27yrs old. Dak and this team these coaches are not responsible for what happened back then and each year is one off and if you see it that way Youd be a lot less jaded...75% of this team and coaching staff been here under 3 years.. so sure keep sayig 27 years that normal..umm NOT..you are lie that ex who at any given moment you do something like leave the seat up or leave toothpaste cap off starts bringing up old fights and wont let it go for 3 days..hapr harp harp..nag nag nag

it its such a fail

please move the flip on

get out of this is allegedly an actual cowboys fan site, not an ex jaded fan site . apparently you are no longer fan and come troll real fans..that eagles green jersey is peaking out. .

Maybe this is the right approach, sit still in free agency, save money for other upcoming big contracts! I mean all these teams out here spending money, it doesn't mean they'll win the Superbowl. We have to remember that injuries are real, all it takes is one small one that could linger all season long to a top player.

I'm not ever saying I want anyone injured, but it happens. Of course we want our team to improve, I guess we just have to be hopeful, hit well on the draft, then add free agents as we see fit. Who knows, this approach of being cheap could workout, why not hop on board???? Give your thoughts

The plan is to hope for major injuries on other teams? Brilliant!

apparently you are no longer fan

I actually agree. My fandom and most importantly my money is not unconditional. You actually have to do something on occasion to earn it. Not every season. But occasionally. Demonstrate the ability to improve?

Does that mean I'm no longer a fan of the Cowboys? I guess so. Everyone has their own opinion on that.

And you're right again. Drive by shootings mean nothing. So I'll try to limit that as much as I can.

But you're wrong suggesting I've switched to being a fan of another team. Why would I do that? Why would I care?

Anyway. Enjoy.

Just about every Super Bowl team has several free agents that contribute a lot. The best of these are not the high dollar free agents, but the mid-tier free agent veterans that offers a lot of experience and fills in the holes on the roster. None of the Super Bowl winners get there by only keeping the same players that has failed year after year without bringing in free agent help. That help is not these trash dumpster free agents that struggle to stay on the roster. The free agents offer good value. Every year there are several free agents available that offers great value and most Cowboy fans can’t believe Dallas didn’t try to sign them when we see their new contracts. Going cheap and continue overpaying good players with great contracts is killing any chance of success this team has of ever being legit contenders.

I hate Jerry Jones to the point where I'm willing to wait until he is dead to see this team have success.

He doesn't deserve to see it....and it would almost make me vomit to see him stand up and take all his "credit."

Can't put his ego behind many lifelong fans so we have to put up with this disaster.

I got bad news for you. Who do you think takes over if that happens? If he hasn't already.
