I’m so confused. Why would the team twitter account ask if Jarvis Landry is a fit and have their employees write about it? Are they seriously trying to get a feel from the fans if this would make us feel better? Are they trying to get the trolls to laugh harder than they already are? Are they trying to get advice from people with real football minds? I S2G this is the craziest front office in all of professional sports!!!

We have non-professional people running this team, so we should not be surprised by this type of behavior.
We are at a serious competitive disadvantage.
This is becoming clearer each passing season.

Wait, THAT'S how you interpreted that post? If you follow the link it comes from the mailbag where FANS asked if Jarvis Landry would he a good fit and the DC writers responded. How can this be construed to be coming from the FO?

I don't think the front office pays that much attention to what the writers on the website do.

I'm hoping they are talking about WRs so much that it's a smokescreen for the draft and we'll draft an offensive lineman or DT, or DE. If our lines are good I'm comfortable going into the season with Lamb, Gallup and Schultz as the main 3. We also got TP.coming out of the backfield in the passing game.

So I'm hoping it's a red herring or smokescreen for what we are going to do draft day.

Spot on, Stephen's petrified of taking a chance and letting his father down AGAIN, especially after Jerry had to take the phone off him in the Gregory negotiations.

It's like politics here in the UK....leak a policy days before and assess the focus group and potential fallout. It's weak and clueless.

I’m convinced they just throw any big name player at the board. They feel casual fans eat this crap up.

Landry? Honey Badger? Wagner? Hey! I’ve heard of them!!!

Because the trolls and haters will grasp at straws including making crap up just to keep the negative vibe going.

You are thinking too hard. They could just be awful writers belching out bad articles to meet a deadline.

So what's your position on this? It clearly looks like team promoted PR, and if it is to gauge fan's reaction then it's designed to either gauge opinion or to placate the dissenting voices.....either way who cares about publicity if it isn't backed up with action.

....oh and dont dismiss posts with generic labelling, if you actually bothered to check you'd actually find i'm more on the side of some restraint atm, well until after the draft.

......just dong like this fake hope, don't tease us, just tell us when you've actually signed someone.
