Don't know about all that. I was just referring to myself, as I am, indeed, a woman. :D

Like so many of you fellow Cowboys fans, I choose to spend several hours a week tossing out my opinions on my favorite team. I really do love this forum we have- It’s fun and interesting and entertaining.

What makes this place great IMO and what keeps me here even when I’m frustrated with how my favorite team is being run- is all the great fans I’ve gotten to know here. It’s like an extended family. I have developed some real friendships with some really great people. Several that I disagree with often! :)

I really do appreciate all our fans who care enough about the Cowboys to write an opinion about them here. This place was never invented to be some kind of country club where we all agree. It’s an opinion forum. And I’m grateful for the variety of opinions served up hot and fresh every day. It’s what makes this place work.

Many years ago I stopped letting the Cowboys’ results in any way affect my happiness or enjoyment. I'm a father, grandfather and cancer survivor who enjoys every day with sincere gratitude. And this forum and the people who show up here and contribute are what makes it tick.

It’s the off-season and so far it hasn’t been a good one. But for me this forum and the great people who show up here keep it fun.

Here an off-season tip of the cap and raise of the glass to all my fellow Cowboys Zone fans who make this place great. Cheers.
While I disagree with some people here, they still provide well thought opinions. You see garbage every where else. Of course this board still has a number of trolls but it's better than anywhere else. Also, this board is a one stop shop for very up to date information.

I wish there was a way we could rewatch games together and do commentary.
You now how people remotely watch movies together.
There are some games I'd love to see comments on lol especially the Romo eras.

Offseasons are so boring.

I think this place has fans of all kinds. The hardcore, bandwagon and the casual. But we all have one thing in common. And that is we want to win! Some just want a super bowl and some just want to go to the nfc championship game. Me? I'm wanting to win a super bowl and have more to follow. No one and done but multiples. But I will have to set my sights lower and just wish for one. I grew up a fan from a young lad in Tom Landry/Craig Morton led Cowboys teams and later Roger/Danny White. I got spoiled and wish we had that kind of continuity once again. But this place rocks as I go here daily for a reason. Good thread Bob.

Enjoy it while it lasts. At current trajectory, there won’t be any die-hard cowboys fans left in 10-15 years.

If you record them, you could stream them via various methods, even in Discord I believe. Since you wouldn't be doing it for money and it would be a "Private viewing" it would even be legal.

We could all be radioactive shadows on walls in 10-15 years. Live and enjoy and hope Jerry buys a clue!

I've made some good friends on here and even serve on the advisory board for a company owned by a member that I met here. We have become good friends @waldoputty
That said, some piss me off and that leads to me being punished, but it keeps it interesting.
You like being punished. The mesquite thorns on her head were a bit much.

I wonder what the "there's still the draft" crew is gonna say after the draft.

I mean, what are they expecting to happen thats going to turn things dramatically?

I guess they expect another Parsons miracle. Not reasonable. Even so, the rest of it would need to be miles better than last years was to this point.

Just saying....can't at all realistically expect a rookie class to make that much of an impact in year one.
Not picking late in each round.
When was the last time pick # 24 made an impact with its team?

Fan forums are a must. Imagine not having a place to vent during the season of even the offseason. I used to post on the old message boards back in the 1990s. Anyone remember those days? Swami, slaneman, Bear, Mike Wilson, etc? Those days were really fun because the Cowboys were kicking butt and Packers fans (and 49ers fans) could not take it! The arguments were epic! Then I moved to the DallasCowboys.com forums. It was good to comment on the articles there but I assume the writers got tired of all the insults. LOL.

This site is well done and the most of the fans that post here provide lots of good info and varying opinions. I think the punishment for violating the posting rules could be a little less harsh and arbitrary, but I suppose it keeps the site orderly.
Yep, I was there too
