No question this is the biggest hole on the roster heading into the draft . Two starters gone in the off-season from what was already a mediocre unit plug in Green with Zack Martin that’s a nice duo at guard . At some point take a tackle day two preferably . 140 mill invested in 4 needs help .

Voch loves him. Had a good video explaining how the Cowboys could use him. You are not going to bully him like Connor Williams.

Im more interested in Zion but I’d be thrilled with Green. It just seems that’s what this offense needs

I’m all about the trenches but there are very good starting quality OG available in rd 2 so I’d rather take Travis Jones at 24 but I don’t be too upset if we take Green or Zion. I just hope we don’t take Burks

Yeah, OL is pretty deep and we should be able to get a day one starter in the second round. Saw one report about Dallas OL and comparing it to the Green Bay lines when McCarthy was there. The Packers barely ever picked OL in the first 3 rounds. Investing in the OL doesn't have to mean a first or second rounder at every spot.

agree on all. If Zion and green are gone, would love a short trade down and grab Jones.

I would much rather Jerry trade up for a OT if one falls to the teens over a guard unless it was a Z. Martin talent. We could pick a OT and move him to the LG position until Tyron Smith is done. Could Green slide out to play OT is the real guestion? I would only move up for a DE or OT.

Personally I think this will be the Cowboys pick if on the board at #24

My question for anyone is he better than Collins or Williams when plugged in at OG ?

I think Zion is that guy and he may have some flex too as he was also tried out at center during the Senior Bowl.

Better then Williams as far as Collins he didn’t want to play guard was hurt yr before and this past yr gets a light suspension extended over stupidity . Glad both are gone and look forward to new blood opening holes for 21 & 20 to run through and pass protection for 4.

Take a tackle if one is high on the board left either rounds 2 or 3. Not sure Josh Ball is an answer . 77 is one play from missing chunks of the season .

Only one close would be Penning and he will go top 15, to move that high we will likely have to up a 2 and 3 this year or next years 1. I’m not doing that. Jones+ RD2 OG better than Penning IMO

Throw the Joseph at CB situation in the mix and that opens up more questions . Still think OLine needs at least 2 players in 2022 draft who can compete and start at some point. Redshirt freshmen need not apply ( Ball & Farniok ) . Although it would be great if Ball actually challenged and played tackle this yr and Faniok given a chance to compete and start at center like he did at Nebraska . Kenyon Green played some tackle at A&M he can be versatile .

I like Green better than Johnson. He moves much better in space. Not too worried about his strength, nothing an offseason wouldn't fix.

Green reminds me of NATE NEWTON, a true road grader, a hole opener. I will be happy with him in a heartbeat. Number one priority of this team, open the holes for Zeke up the middle. Get Biadasz on some strengthening program. Find some new techniques for Connor McGovern who has not lived up to the projections of him coming out of Penn State.

Remember Doug Free the Boys 4th round pick 2007? He did not start until his 3rd year. Josh Ball has to be in the equation for future play at OT unless the coaches have a negative view of him. He needs lots of reps in training camp.
