Said all along I dont think he is coming here unless he falls a long way, I definitely think he could fall to 2nd day. The player has REALLY short arms and is best suited for a zone blocking scheme, with little to no position flex. I dont necessarily dislike the player but I just dont think they like him that much.

I like Linderbaum and his size doesn't really scare me though he's going to have to play a perfect game every snap. I just don't see Dallas moving away from Biadasz. He was good in college, really good. Rimington Trophy winning, Outland Trophy finalist, 40 consecutive starts, only two QB pressures allowed in 312 pass blocking sets type good. He's only played 1 full season and had the juggernaut brothers Williams/McGovern lined up on his gimp side. Center is hard to play at any level and I think we saw some growing pains from Biadasz last season but I don't think Dallas even has Linderbaum on their board. You know how they like to "grow" their players from inside.

He is a fan like us watching the game film and making his own opinions. He would draft a WR in the 1st every year and loves, undersized players.
Would have drafted Davonte Smith over Parsons and would yell team 50 burger.:omg::laugh::lmao2:

To me it screams Creed Humphrey. I know Creed is much bigger (6-5, 320), but Creed was also projected an early first round pick before his last season. He slid to the late 2nd round ... now kid is a stud at center.

I don't think Linderbaum is an option here. He is smaller and would benefit from a zone blocking scheme. I would love to slide down into the early 2nd and pick him up.
Creed was a WAY better prospect than Linderbaum. We should have taken him in the second round last year. Really poor decision to pass on him in the second round. For a rapper who had questionable work ethic and desire to play football. What a waste of a pick. Now the latest stuff on top of that makes that decision look even worse.

People are just scared of the fact that he isn't an absolute behemoth. The dude will be a good or great center in the NFL. His bend and athleticism at the point of attack are perfect for cutting off linebackers in the second level and he has proven he can handle the big nose tackles he faced in the Big10.

Pick him in the second round if you want but the guy will be a good starter.
Go YouTube Linderbaum pinning Tristan Wirfs in a Iowa state event. How big is Wirfs, 1st round pick of the Bucs? This kid is a technician and a skilled player.

Jeff says alt f stuff that never happens.I recall that short safety last year from TCU that he claimed was the best in the draft. What happened to that guy I wonder? I havent heard much. I like Jeff and his passion, but many times he falls in love with the player instead of facts. He's a smallish center and will struggle. I think the kid will be similar to Tyler B..our center. Not bad, but not a great player. I defer to Jeff on some stuff, but this guy I disagree with him on. That said, if he's there in 2 late, I may trade up and nab him. The value then will be great.
And he hasn't mentioned Washington once since lol. Nor has he humbled himself after saying Gregory Rousseau couldn't play football. That's why I think it was Dlaw checked him on social media. He talks way too spicy for a guy who can't take what he dishes. But dudes on here like him for some reason

But I will say I don't watch his solo channel I only ever hear him when Dane is on the draft show so he may have owned up to alot of his ridiculous takes

I don't even know if dallas is even interested in him to begin with. But they should be. whether people like his weight or arm size, the guy is a pure technician and played against good competition.
Combine his understanding of the position, competition, and wrestling skills and it's a no brainer why he is so good even if undersized. Won't take much for a guy his size to pack on some more weight if necessary. Especially considering his nature as a player.

Tape doesn't lie. He rarely gets beat no matter how big the guy in front of him is. In fact, he puts them on their back plenty.

really laugh at the idiots who whine about his arm size.

True morons.

The guy played at tthe highest level when going against the best DTs in the Big TEN.

You are rated say the 25th best talent in the draft. You could go first rd or second rd depending on what teams like about you. Or you could slip to the third depending on how the draft falls.

Would love to get Johnson and then him in the 2nd . Unfortunately, he won’t make it to us in the 2nd but one can dream.

I get the size comparisons and so on but
I think they like Jurgens as a later round guy. A developmental guy but I could be wrong.

Also this rumor could be some teams just throwing that out there hoping he falls to them in the second.

Yep, liking a guy in the 4th round is a lot different than liking a similar style player in the 1st.

Is it a rumor when a guy says he has talked to NFL people and they tell him that Linderbaum is not considered a first round talent?

The best center in the NFL is arguably Jason Kelce and he's not a big or strong guy by any means. But Philly uses him smartly, he's a cerebral player and he has great mobility.

I honestly think great mobility (for an offensive lineman) + high football IQ with adequate strength is a recipe for a good center at any level of football.
