Joseph joined in on physically attacking the innocent victim before they decided to shoot and kill him in a drive-by later that evening. Joseph isn't an innocent bystander simply caught in a bad situation around bad people. He is a part of those bad people. That's the difference.

Hey, man...I know Im being lobbed up a softball here...

But fighting and killing are completely different. Intent to kill is a serious issue. I see NFL players fight each other all the time on the field.

Anyway...Im not getting into some long drawn out argument that myself on you all know is unreasonable. Participating in a fight does not warrant a murder charge lol.

Agree, until you walk in another persons shoes you just don't know. One thing I learned when pursuing my JD was never assume anything or form any opinion until you have all the pertinent facts available and fully understand the situation and the laws.

Yeah it's pretty easy for all these wise old owls to say exactly what somebody else should have done in certain situations. Despite the fact that I am disgusted by the stupid choices some of these kids make I am not too old to have forgotten some of the stupid choices I made when I was that age. Also I understand how freaked out Joseph and really all of them must have been when they heard that kid had died. As dumb as it may seem to "normal" people, keeping your head down and hoping it passes is not an uncommon reaction for people who are freaking out about something like this. Yes he SHOULD have known better.. and he probably DID know better.. but again.. people (especially young people) don't always do what they KNOW they should do.. If they did then all prisons would be empty..

Yeah, that's why KJ stayed quiet for a whole month......and would have stayed quiet if he wasn't ID'd by police investigators. But, hey, it was only a fight he was guilty of, right??? That's why he stayed quiet for 30 days...and would have still remained quiet to this day...just because of a fight, right? HAHAHAHAAAA...it's so funny.

I might think about being quiet too if I was dealing with actual murders. My opinion. I would hope the court would reason with me on it too.

You can keep being unreasonable. Softball is fun to some.

You want KJ thrown away forever...even if he is innocent of wanting to kill anyone.

He's at a minimum...an accomplice. Clearly, his connection with the Cowboys has helped him make a deal, but he's not an innocent bystander.

Can you define accomplice? They were his guns? His vehicle? He egged them on to do it? How did he help them commit murder? Being quiet?

I get that the guy isnt completely innocent...he raps about that lifestyle and it just happened to come true.

But...how guilty is the guy if he really only helped them in a fist fight but had no desire to kill anyone? No intent to shoot anyone...it was all the other guys doing.

Are you saying that because he most likely knew that his boys had heat...and that they were worked up after a fist fight...that he knew for a fact something bad would happen if he got in the vehicle with them...so he should have ubered home?

I think you have to have audio, video or both men arrested telling the same story of Bossman as the director of the killing for him to ever get charged. Or...maybe if they are his guns and maybe his vehicle and hes driving.

The kid is most likely going to go free. If a bunch of stuff comes out about his past such as being in many fights or around shootings...he should be on a last chance basis in the NFL because he is obviously choosing that lifestyle.

What is the legal term for accomplice?

Complicity is the act of helping or encouraging another individual to commit a crime. It is also commonly referred to as aiding and abetting. One who is complicit is said to be an accomplice.Mar 25, 2019

What is Complicity or Accomplice Liability? - FindLaw

if you help to conceal a crime already committed (hiding stolen money or weapons used in the crime’s commission, for example), or give assistance to perpetrators of crime to help them avoid detection, arrest or prosecution, you can be charged as an “accessory after the fact.”

In these situations, you are culpable under the accomplice liability theory because you knew of the illegal plan and willfully did something to cause it to be carried out or concealed.

He is supposed to be a professional football player. Showing up for workouts should be expected unless the bar is really that low............ especially for a guy coming off a disappointing rookie season.
Bravo.
Well said. I don't suppose, Atlanta chap, tha someone can disagree with what you said. However in an era when police thank perps for cooperating and coaches can only talk about the heart and passion of losers, some apologist here will find fault.
Rah, rah, Bossman Fat showed up to work. Jerry is pleased and safe from drive-bys.

..Kind of surprised that he made the Spring Workout Program....It is the best thing for him to do I suppose...I assume the FO will keep him around till after the Draft and the 2nd FA......But they do have a history of keeping some bad boys around and trying to "fix them."...ex...David Irving, Josh Brent, and even Pac Man Jones...Still Joseph will probably face a hefty NFL suspension to protect the shield!...Joseph , if still here, could possibly see some playing time in about +_ the 7th game of the Reg. Season, and maybe some Pre Season games too???

Gil Brandt, "well he's a stupid kid who can almost talk, I wouldn't be surprised if he shot himself by accident cleaning his murder weapon "

That is true, however the NFL requires you to grow up quicker, because of people who hang on to you and will drag you down with them. You are now in the spot light anything you say or do will be reported on, in a 24/7 sports news these acts can end a career quickly. In the old day, players would get drunk, get into fights and no one ever heard about it, now you have media reporting on everything and anything.
