Hard to argue with players when there are record breaking deals every year for the media rights, an extra game, and game announcers are making more than many of the star players on the field. The salary cap should easily be 50 percent higher than it is right now.

Players are paid way too much for what they do. Way too much. I have little sympathy for them.

Forcing trades, holding out when you signed an agreement to play. At least make these punks honor their contracts and play for what they agreed to for as long as they agreed to.

Samuels had done nothing in the NFL until last year. He was largely hurt and doing little. One big year and all of a sudden he wants 30 million per year or be traded? Criminal.

Spoiled??? He was practically the only offensive weapon the 49ers had last season. Shanahan was going to run him into the ground like the Cowboys did with Murray. This a business decision.
He's spoiled.....this is a business decision and he wants as much as he can get....I don't blame him, but I bet he won't sit the year out.....people hate on Zeke for holding out and getting paid, but think it's OK for other players to do.

While I suspect Samuel is using the Cowboys as leverage to get his money from San Fran, I'd love to see him with Dallas.

It's very questionable that Jerry and Stephen would see fit to award him the contract that he wants, however. We'll see.

It's all relative. The NFL is a booming business.

Yep the owners have worked for a long time to build the brand of the NFL. Taken risks and devoted billions to the NFL and their teams. They deserve to reap the rewards for all their hard work and dedication.

Players come and go. Part time job, play 17 games a year for about 7 months and that's it.

Let him play for someone else for 30 million. Dont want that here in Dallas.

That was a career year for Samuel. I am willing to bet he never has one like that again. The guy has been largely hurt his entire career. He can thank the OC for actually devising a scheme to use him like that.

I don’t blame him. WR’s receive more money with less and tear. No team is paying RB money to guys being used out of the backfield more often than not.

The dude had 1400+ receiving yards. You’re going to pass on a stud WR that breaks more tackles than Derrick Henry?

I am, because he is getting 25+ mil a year from somebody and we got many holes to fill, especially on the O-line.

Haha never ever.

I haven't seen the actual amount that would be involved but his contract demand would likely be more than the C'boys would take to. I'm thinking we'll look to the draft rather than to seriously consider what Deebo would want. If it's, indeed, $25 or $30 mil, it's surely out of the question. We're a stepping stone.

What can Samuel do for us that Pollard can't? Moore doesn't know how to use players like that. If he's wasting Pollard's talents then he'll surely waste Samuel's also.

Yes, he does although he and Stephen probably love money even more. I can't see them parting with that much, even in my dreams.
Yep. Jerrah would have to escape his straight jacket this week for that pipe dream ever to happen, cheap S Jones will draft a WR no doubt.
