Happy Birthday Tony Romo!!

One of the most exciting and talented QB's of his era. In my opinion the Cowboys failed him, not the other way around, but I don't want to start any conflicts here.

I've always said he was the unluckiest QB ever. Can't think of any QB who had more last min/last drive turnovers in a lose or go home games

Leadership was always one of the criticisms with him. Couldn’t seem to rally the troops when it mattered but he had playmaking ability.
I think you have that wrong. A "leader" makes people around him better. He did that. Even Miles Austin, pretty good talent in his own right...could not succeed elsewhere.

Does Dak make people BETTER? Or do we get rid of them?

When os much is out of the QB's control...it can be difficult to tell.

I say Tony took the risks a leader takes...and doesn't blame ANYONE...not refs or fans ....for failures.

Thank you Tony.....for being a tremendous overachiever and one of the best of your time when there were so many very good QBs. You went to to toe with one the best QB's EVER. Your team let you down but stupid a hole fans blame you. You know...who you are. And you know you are an a hole about it.

Hummmm.
Couldn't hold Troy's Jock.
If it wasn't for Dez sacrificing his health in 2013-14 Tony would be a burp at best.
But yeah, happy birthday Romo:clap:
And right here's a pure hater. Only Dez was the recipient of Tony's efforts?

Miles Austin says a huge ** to you.

I am going to honor the forums admin rules and refrain from telling you what you REALLY are.

He made some receivers better than they were but in the crunch games the team never rallied around him. Our play never elevated in the big games with him at QB. Not only did we lose but we got our butts handed to us in some of those games. I really don’t think the team believed in him when it mattered most. The fan base doubted him as well. He was one of the best QBs ever for the Cowboys. However he didn’t get it done in the postseason.

One of the greatest undrafted players ever.

Happy 42nd birthday to @tonyromo! https://t.co/oW6OD5FjPH

Wish he would have played like that in the do or die games. He and Dez had no trouble hooking up for a TD in the regular season against the Packers. None of those highlights were in the playoffs.

Moon would have been drafted but thought it would be in the late rounds so took a relatively lucrative gig (for 1978) in the USFL 1-2 months before the draft.
Huge success there, obviously.

Actually, Moon signed with Edmonton Eskimos before the draft and played there for six years before signing with the Oilers.
