This is a clear case of agent induced delusion. Deebo is a good receiver but not a great one. What made him a great PLAYER is that he could do more than just run routes and catch the ball. If he is now insisting that he doesn't want to be versatile anymore but wants to be paid on the basis of that versatility then he's just being stoopid. In any case, him coming to Dallas at any price would be a waste. Moore has no clue how to use great talent.

He's being smart to me. He could probably make more money long term just playing WR due to preserving his body and able to get more contracts. His second contract might be initially lower than if he did the dual purpose thing, but he'll be in the league longer due to the fact he's not getting hit on nearly every play. Guys who train their whole lives as RBs typically are worn down by the time their second contract comes around, much less a WR they are putting in an RB role.

The rest of the NFL knows by now there is no leverage by using the Cowboys. They created a ton of cap space this offseason and just sat on it. They aren't giving up multiple picks and paying Deebo nearly $30 million annually. There's a better chance of me marrying the Cowboys cheerleader of my choice before sundown.
If it happens I say go for the redhead.

When that way he's being used can cause his career to significantly be shortened, then it's understandable why he's mad. The prevailing logic is to avoid giving runningbacks big second contracts because the wear and tear on their body will significantly diminish their performance and you can find a replacement easily in the 3rd round or so. Now take a WR, give him runningback carries and it's not surprising that he's frustrated. He doesn't want his body to be broken down and knocked out of the league in a couple of years.

He's already 26, how much shortened will it be? And what difference does it make if he gets his 2nd contract? Is he worried about a 3rd?

Deebo probably do want to the Cowboys, I don't think it's a case of driving up the money, he's friends with Lamb, Cowboys need another Wr and both him and Lamb have the same agent.

I took Friday off to watch the draft Thursday night. They better not be giving away our picks!!!

Sometimes you're a gadget guy because you're a jack of trades, and master at none. Maybe he can prove that false, but...

Yep..it's like so many guys learn after we get married. The chick who really seemed to love... well.. you know.. seem to love it a lot less once you're hitched. Deebo is that chick who wants to reap the benefits of being great in bed but doesn't wanna go down anymore after the wedding night. He got the order wrong though.. He wasn't sposed to SAY it until AFTER the wedding..
OMG LOL graphic but true..lazy once they know longer need to try..:lmao::eek::popcorn:
