No, the original law suit was filed to force Jerry to NOT stop payments coming from Jerry and the mother back in the 90s. She has a trust that is due to make her 1 more payment and she was trying to do a preemptive strike against Jerry to ensure he couldnt cancel that last check. In the original agreement it was stipulated that if the info about Jerry came out, it would make that contract void, and all payments would stop. So that is what the first lawsuit was over.
Now she cancels that case and is now trying to get a DNA test. This is all about money and her lawyers are dong what they feel is in their interest to get more money from Jerry. Im not sure what this angle is.
At this point with Jethro not wanting to admit he’s the father, I’d go after him too. Who could blame her?
But my hunch the angle at least originally was genuine . She was seeking to legally establish her biological father . Probably with emotions running strong with her mother fighting cancer knowing once she passes would be difficult to prove without a DNA test.
At this point we can only speculate. But she hadn’t gone to the media. As a matter of fact she’s intently refused to give any interviews or sell her story, etc.
Id argue based on what we know so far her actions have been very professional.
