Can you imagine what percolated in Booger's mind when he's being hated for firing Landry and making Emmitt hold out and Jimmy has turned into an overnight sensation with the media and public and that "put it in 3" tall letters" stunt made him legendary?

"What about me?" kept playing over and over in his head.
I actually gave him a pass for firing Tom. Could he of handled it a little better? Maybe but it’s darn near impossible to fire a Legend if he’s not ready to go.

The fact he couldn’t check his own egos after Jimmy resurrected his franchise with back to back championships is what has set us on our course ever since. For that we can never forgive him .

Nothing but Negative Nancies every year. Sad.

One would think the Cowboys have had losing seasons every year for the past 6 years, but it's been quite the opposite.

winning seasons that are never associated with playoff success are meaningless! That’s the problem. And it’s been a problem for a long time! 12 wins don’t mean a dam thing if you’re getting b****slapped at home in the playoffs!

And you're a Jerry Jones hater, yet here you are still watching and following Jerry's product of goods.
Yes, I’m here to call out our dysfunctional ownership which is preventing our franchise from more success. Any Cowboy fan who doesn’t hate how Jethro Jone$ has destroyed our football operations is a fool.

You became a huge Dak Homer trolling any criticism pivoting from trolling Romo. At least you didn’t deny and knew who I was referring to:)

If you played each of the 31 other teams, what do you think their record would be? I can't see it being better than say 18 - 13. That's if you average their play across last season.

The way they played over the second half of the season; I don't see them winning that many.

That level of play is just the bottom of the tier above "absolute train wrecks". It's not good football.
They lost the playoff game by 6 points and 20 yards away from winning the game.

Really, we win against our pathetic division and lose to all the top 5 teams. Actually, get a spanking from all the top teams. In fact, we get bullied by all the top teams.
Yep...that is something to be proud about. Your glass must always be half full.
Your view is pathetic.

It all goes back to his ambitions and passions to ge a football guy. This is why he wanted to buy a team. Being an owner and getting credit for hiring the right people like Jimmy isn’t enough.

He wants the celebrity status and credit Head Coaches receive along with being the face of the franchise without being held directly accountable to someone who could fire him.

It would never happen, but one of the greatest things that could happen to troll Jerry and drive him nuts (and get any coach here fired) would be for the media to simply ignore him and direct all interviews and questions to the head coach. It would be amazing. Too bad the journalists wouldn't agree to that.

I love the draft and this time of year in general. So do a lot of people.

But I can't remember a more apathetic and lethargic feeling among the Cowboys fan base this close to the draft.

The a creep of sameness and almost boredom surrounding this team right now. We want that new vette, but we know it's the same ole Honda Accord.

I want the center from Iowa, or the guard from A&M, but honestly, I kind of don't care what they do this year because the end results seem predetermined and inevitable. Rack up wins in a weak division and contend for the playoffs, then fall on their faces.

I hate it because, again, I generally love the draft.
It is the Mel Kiper Blue Book curse.

Who the hell knows? The league is set up to give every team a chance year after year. It is show business with modern day gladiators that can go down at anytime.

You're a delusional, sorelosing, crybaby Romo-lover. Doesn't matter what spin you will say, everyone knows what you're about. At least now I know it eats you up seeing Dak as the franchise QB.

I think the draft for a lot of teams has almost become a side issue this year with the amount of trading and FA deals this year, everyone is looking at what the LA Rams have achieved and are thinking that may be the way to success.

Here is what I don’t get about Jerry after Jimmy though…..it worked with Jimmy. They won. Jerry looked good like he hired the right guy. Besides Parcells he’s never gone this route again. That floors me. As a businessman and an ego driven guy what is the harm in hiring a real GM and coach and putting your team closer to a SB if it makes you look good? It’s the one question I’ve never been able to answer. People were singing Jerry’s praises with SBs. Rinse/Repeat…don’t hire a Garrett to show what you can do or to do it your way….hire smart folks and get out of the way and when the team is in the SB again, you’re getting that credit

It worked b/c there was a clear separation of duties. Jimmy ran the football operation and Jerry ran the business. Was Jerry the GM? Technically yes, but in title only. He was a rubber stamp. Roster control was in Jimmy's contract and he didn't need Jerry's permission to cut a player. Jimmy picked his coaching staff and decided who the team was going to draft. The fallout came after the 93' super bowl when Jerry offered Jimmy an extension that took roster control away from Jimmy and gave it to the GM. Now, there was a lot of animosity and ego that lead up to the insulting offer, but it was mostly born out Jerry's need to get involved in what he termed " the fun stuff" and get recognition he thought he deserved. Jerry wanted more of the limelight and credit for building those teams. Jimmy was having none of it b/c he knew Jerry didn't know squat about football.

Its a long story but thats the gist of it. The best decision Jerry ever made after buying the Dallas Cowboys was hiring Jimmy Johnson and getting out of the way.

Wrong . I was a Romo critic on many fronts and I’m on record of supporting Prescott. But neither fit into your trolling of Romo or Homerism of Prescott.

Without Romo and Dak our dysfunctional ownership would have been more of a bottom tier franchise . That said neither have been enough to carry us further with the toxic culture .

My mantra has been and still maintains a focus of targeting our ownership not any specific players or coaching .

Yet, you keep watching, following and shopping for Jerry's product. It's like one who dislikes Sam Walton and his Walton family, but you continue shopping at Walmart.
