I think they take turns making the final call on the first rounder. Jerry was telling the truth, the media just started laughing like it was a joke.

Taco- Stephen.
LVE- Jerry.
(no first) Cooper trade.
Lamb- Stephen.
Parsons- Jerry.

So this year is Stephen's year to make the final call on the first.

Taco has no one to blame but himself he was given every opportunity with the Cowboys. He spent one season in Miami, Kansas City and Pittsburgh. Not sure if he’s still with Pittsburgh. Taking him ahead of TJ Watt was one of the biggest gifts in Cowboys draft history.

I’m sure it does cut deep. Jerry should’ve mocked him while he was here maybe that would’ve motivated him.
