Funny how many say “it’s a business, it’s a business” and then their social media reflects just how personal it actually is

Business is often personal. I'm not sure why we pretend it isn't. I guess it's just a convenient phrase to throw around.

It doesn't serve any good for Randy Gregory to criticize Jerry Jones.
Regardless ow you feel, this is how you should address the topic:
"I appreciate all that Jerry Jones did for me as a Dallas Cowboy. I appreciate him taking a chance on me and allowing me to develop as a player. Ultimately, I had to make a choice that is best for me, which led me to sign with the Denver Broncos. Even though I'm now a Bronco, I will always have a place in my heart for Mr. Jones and the Cowboys organization."

I dont think your wrong on Denvers potential, but they have a ton of opposition as opposed to us who only have 3 or 4 legit contenders to get past. GB losing Devontee takes a little luster off them imo. LA is gonna be tough again, and our odds looked better with Brady retired.

As far as the AFC goes the entire AFC West is tough, the Bills, Pats, Ravens and Titans are all tough.

Maybe I'm being too hard on the NFC, but talent has fled to the AFC. That's why I'm so frustrated with our passive free agency. Now is the time to strike.
I agree. Read an article today that Stephen Jones said they filled all the holes in FA. That guy is such a liar. He knows this team is weak at G, C, T, TE, DE and LB. If Gallup doesn’t come back week one WR too.

This tweet reply in that string says it all for me:

"You mean the guy that stood by you for years? You wouldn’t even be in the NFL right now or even have got paid by another organization without what the Cowboys have done for you.. they had to babysit you like a child for the 7 years"
There is not another owner that would have put up with what RG did as long as he did. Now RG is butt hurt because we did not throw a big enough bucket of money at him.
Well good riddance.

Saying some untruths about Booger doesn't excuse the fact that Chuckles still blew the negotiations....please do not forget that, or think for one second that we are better off without him....we aren't.

I wanted to sign someone better. Knowing we were not going to do that, I was OK with bringing back Randy. Instead of either of those things, we got Fowler.

THE SAME OWNER THAT STOOD BY YOUR SIDE when you had your issues, let it go!!!

This says nothing about Randy Gregory. He is what he is as a person and player.

However it says everything about Jerry DUMBO GM Jones. He wasted time, space, and matter and should have remembered the 3 year rule Landry, Parcells, and even Jimmy Johnson used concerning drafted rookie players. Where was Gregory year 3 of his NFL career? Suspended because he got high...why did Jerry Dumbo GM Jones keep him? Because Jerry Dumbo GM Jones got high...

That would mean that Gregory has class, something he clearly doesn't have.

If you are reading this and the aim of your anger is towards Gregory, I personally think your anger is misguided. Randy was responding to our stupid owner calling him out for no reason. This was a stupid, untrue statement from Jerry and just shows how much he lies and says anything possible to cover his ***. He spent years giving Gregory money while he was not available. Even signed him to an extension. Now availability is a huge thing for him? He needs to shut up and fans really need to stop defending him. He was about to sign Gregory to that same deal. Stop it. Makes me sick to be real.

Gregory you should kiss Jerry's backside, he put up with your habits that kept you sidelined for more time than playing time.

He’s more War Daddy than Armstrong and anyone else we have not named Micah or Tank. It kill’s me how folks get mad for people talking about Jerry. But we all know what people say is true!

What's true is Jerry gave RG a huge break, carried him through all his stupid years of stupid tricks and held his hand when he didn't deserve it, and then asked for a monetary guarantee that RG wouldn't stick it to the Cowboys again and Gregory told the Cowboys to shove it. Well RG is not a war daddy, he's an ungrateful cry baby and pain in the neck. Good riddance RG. I hope the door hit him on the way out.

If RG had any class at all, that's what he would've said. But he doesn't, so he didn't. Go suck on a weed RG.

Cowboys tried to sign him.

The Sheep: "We sign our own!" "Build trough the draft and keep our guys!"

Randy Gregory signs with Denver since doesn't like the restrictions and language placed in contract that only the Cowbys use.

The Sheep: "He's ungrateful!" "He's not that good." "We got two players for that price, he was too expesnive, not worth it!"

The Cowboys literally offered him the contract. They wanted him. They announced they had re-signed him. Pretending like this was Dallas' choice is peak apologizing. Be better.

I am so glad Denver saved the front office from the mistake of a contract they offered for a guy that for whatever reason cannot play a whole season.

I also loved Randy Gregory. Don't really know why, but I was pulling for him every step of the way. Maybe I see some of my oldest son in him, the one I nearly lost to drugs. I cannot express my joy when Randy gaot his head on straight, got back to the team, and really started putting it all together, finally. I was so looking forward to see what he could really do. To see him really grow and blossom.
And now this.
There is no other man in the NFL other than Jerry Jones that would have stuck by Gregory. None. I truly believed in my heart of hearts that if there was ever a player that would be truly LOYAL to the Dallas Cowboys in this day and age, it would HAVE to be Randy Gregory. Right? Randy Gregory, literally, owes Jerry Jones EVERYTHING. 100% of everything that he has is due to Jerry Jones sticking by him.
I understand the clause.
Every contract that he ever signed had that clause in it. I know that it gave Dallas the right to cancel his guarantees if he was fined. But it did NOT lower his pay or remove any dollars from the deal. So even if Dallas DID cancel his guarantees, he could STILL earn every dollar in that contract. That fact is lost on many, possibly including Randy. This whole thing has dimmed my faith in humanity.
