I'm ok with him saying this. Beats the heck out of "we have major holes at DE and LB and that's the direction we're going early". Does he believe this team is good to go for the season? I really doubt it.

Stephen has declared that he will hire a GM when he takes over. We could overcome as long as Stephen hires someone w/ football saavy who tells him what to do, and as long as he listens.

They literally don't have a starting LG. They "filled" DE with Dante Fowler? You seriously floating that turd, Stephen? Dump Cooper but bring in Washington? Yep, hole filled.

This 25 year run of playoff futility is going to turn into 50 with this guy eventually taking over full time.

The first smart thing he has said/done all offseason. Of course you say this the day before the draft. What do you want him to say "We are targeting a RG (or whatever position)" and make teams try and jump us if they want the same? Don't show your hand. Ever.

Now, of course, if he really believes this we screwed worse than I thought...

You got yourself a hole? You want to fill it with something better than you had in it because that's why you have the hole now, don't you? Well, you can use concrete, the crap Texas uses to patch the holes on its highways, sand or pudding.

The LG hole was created because they picked the wrong player in the 2nd round and doubled down by picking the wrong player in the 3rd round at the same position in a subsequent draft.

It seems that this waste of air is trying to hide the holes from people far smarter than he is at this game of football.

It doesn't matter, everyone lies prior to the draft, even to prospects. The sly smile on Parcells' face when he said that intimated it was a lot of fun lying about the draft.

This is the most transparent smokescreen in history. There is absolutely no chance the Cowboys do not see the gaping hole on the OL. I think they are trying to distract team drafting after them that might be looking a OG. I think the Cowboys have a OL target and are hoping no one jumps in front of them to get him.
