McCarthy deserves better than this

As far as I'm concerned McCarthy deserves players that have talent and it is up to him to get them over the top. For all of Jerry faults, getting players for the most part especially in recent years, he has done that. Dallas has enough talent on this team, every body and their brother will acknowledge the talent is there. It falls to the staff to take that talent and go out and win.
I take it you don't believe culture has any bearing on the teams overall success or lack thereof?

That was Jerry? I thought Murray went to Philly as a FA was the reason or was Jerry to overpay for his own? There is win for jerry he is accused of not signing a player like Murray then he is hammered because he overpays? Also 2015 Romo was dealing with injuries that he played 4 games that season, was that on Jerry as well?

hell yea its Jerry's fault. I need it to be... it is like donuts with my Coffee. Day isnt right if it isnt Jerry's fault. Now let me be!

Demarco Murray wanted a huge payday... he left and stunk immediately. Giving a RB a huge payday... uhm, isnt that the same thing you all call Jerry out on for Zeke?
So he doesnt give a payday to a RB and you blast him
He gives a payday to an RB and you blast him????
They didn’t even try to pay Murray. They were so sold their OL was all world they thought running back by committee would be enough. And they mismanaged Dez franchise tag and contract as well . Totally mismanaged the entire situation. .

Not everyone. We have had enough talent in some key areas , especially on offense. But not defense and arguably what has prevented this franchise from more success this era.

True and last season much of the draft was directed at defense and a vast improvement started to showed.

Culture? WTH does Culture mean?

I love those T-shirts I often see from HS coaches.... you know the ones with all those great Cliches on them about unity and team work and blah blah blah... all those t-shirts arent nearly as important as having a 92mph HS pitcher.

Had the exact same takeaway. They treated him like a little boy… JJ and SJ spoke 80% of the time. They could have invited his input on so many more topics than they did— made a platform for him to contribute and bring value— but this was clearly the JJ show. He even threw shade at SJ at times (half truths in every joke)

And when JJ was waxing “philosophical” about how he prides himself on making others “feel that they made decisions that matter” even though it is always his final say and they only “think” it was their decision— that just confirmed again why this FO will never grow up. They simply can’t avoid making everything about themselves.

THAT'S MIKE'S FAULT HE CAN SPEAK UP or demand before he signs that he needs control

who cares... anything wed have given Murray would have been too much... he was done. he stunk the next year as soon as he left, stunk the following year and then was out of the league.
Mishandled Dez? They signed him just like they should have.

But again, it doesnt matter what they do, you will say it was wrong.
Dak's deal was handled wrong, right? Yet after next year he wont even be a top 10 paid QB...... sounds good to me.

Philly over paid for Murray who was dealing with so many injuries dating back to OU days. I swear, if Jerry pays someone he over paid and if he lets a guy leave for a big pay day then he was being cheap. lol

Glad you asked:
When you have no accountability you can't have sustained success.
Jerry is accountable to no one.
That mentally flows down the whole organization.
When we lose its always someone else's fault.
The refs, the penalties ect ect ect.....

I didn’t say he should have over paid Murray. I said we mismanaged the situation.

That’s because Romo was gone . The fact is we never fielded our best or most effective Triplets after 2014.

And the reasons we didn’t is important . Including our RB by committee debacle .

But if your position is our ownership is providing this franchise it’s best opportunity for success I’ll let you stand on that island .

No he didn't, he was a FA and Philly jumped in and paid him more than they should have. I'm sorry but blaming Jerry for everything is a joke. I do agree things Jerry has done over the years as at times not worked out but this i=lame crap of blaming him for every thing is ridiculous . Fact is this team has talent to win, if falls to this coaching staff to get it done. Period. Jerry is not interfering with what is taking place on the field. For instance Jerry made comments about the poor FG kicking yet coaches did not cut Zerline, that was on them

There are not many HC's that could thrive in this Circus.
I am really disappointed that it appears Mac cant be more involved in the Offense as that is his bread and butter.
I was really hoping he could take Dak under his wing and work with him.

The Chicken S doesn't want to be involved with the offense...facts have already proven that one more than once.

My take away from yesterdays news conference is him sandwiched in between our dysfunctional ownership . He actually looked smaller if that’s possible .

I had been somewhat targeting him since his arrival but I feel sorry for him now. I know many fans had hope he was going to be our savior but he has no chance over coming these fools . He’s become just another puppet. And probably always was since he stayed over at Jethro’s .

I can’t see him surviving another season barring something we haven’t seen this era which isn’t likely. And for his sake he deserves something better.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t totally grasp the crap show he was getting himself into. What a Shonda our Cowboys have become .
Do you really think this group is going to understand the word Shonda?

Well then what does he bring to the team?
Not being ignorant, but offense was his specialty.
Has Jerry told him offense was Moores domain?

But we could argue the fact Romo didn’t have his dominating running game placed him in danger again having to move the ball thru the air which placed him more in harms way.

Our offense didn’t look the same in those first 4 games . And Romo was again needed to carry the load with his arm .
