In conclusion, and to wrap this thread up, I offer the supreme truth:

Bossman Fat is, a thug who, at the minimum, engaged in a fistfight that hurt his feelings and he got his thug posse to retaliate. A lad, 20, is dead.
THEN AFTER A MONTH, Bossman Fat comes clean. Is tha like withholding evidence?

Jerphen and the NFL can do better than tha!

Thug life. Fear the Bossman Fat Vibe!

It has been about 20 years he can make parole in about 6-9 more years or what ever Texas minimum on life is
So let's put football aside for a second. Reason being is we all have disagreements, arguments, opinions, etc. I know I can get a tad snarky and emotional and sometimes defensive. It comes with the territory of these discussion boards. But at the end of the day I look at everyone who posts here as passionate people that share the same passion I do. With that being said my heart goes out to @Cowpolk and @jnday . I've stated before that I'm a therapist and I work with troubled youth. Well about 5 years ago one of my clients murdered her boyfriend. This took place after 2 years since I seen her and the victim's mom contacted me, my former client's mom contacted me and I cooperated with the detective working the case. I'll never forget the pain that was in the mom's eyes as we talked. She was just devastated. I never spoke to the victim's mom face to face. But that pain that my former client's mom had shook me up. Even to this day, this happened in 2016, it stills get me shook when I think about the mom's eyes. I would never wish that pain on anyone and their families. So for you @Cowpolk and @jnday I feel for you guys. I don't what it's like and I can't imagine it because I've never felt it but I know it's horrible cuz I've worked with families in the recovery process. You got my respect and I prayed for both you guys and your families today.

At the end of the day we can disagree, take shots at each other. It's kind of like siblings fighting. No matter what is said I feel that everyone on this board is my friend and it sucks hearing about struggles of this magnitude. Hang in there.

Go Cowboys and Cowboy nation sticks together.

I would hope that none of us was involved in a murder. I think all of us has the moral grounds to find fault with an accessory to murder. If their is a couple fans that have murdered somebody, maybe they should keep quite. I can overlook most mistakes that people makes. It happens, none of us are perfect. Murder is a different deal. Murders have no place in my life. They have to go. My daughter was murdered, so I know how the victim’s surviving family members feel. Nobody should have to live with knowing that a loved one was murdered. I have no sympathy for murderers . I don’t care how good of a football player they are or what team they play for. I hope this young man is innocent, but innocent people comes to law enforcement to clear their names instead of avoiding them for a couple of months. He had more than enough time to step forward and straighten this mess out.
So very sorry to hear about your daughter.

I don't know if you can call it fighting if you don't connect on any punches. But he threw some punches, and missed, but yeah he was involved. I really wish we could have audio in that video.
Looked more like a dance off, didn't it?

That's the thing, the videos didn't have audio that I heard, nor did it pick up any possible verbal exchange before hand. Should he have started the fight? No, no matter what the other guy might have said, there's no excuse. Should he have come forward after the shooting? Yes. But we can't prove that he knew what they would do. It could have been a spur of the moment decision. He might have egged them on, he might have said "Nah guys, let's not do that." We don't know. All we know for sure is that he fought, then was in the vehicle then didn't report it.

It looks bad in any case. And he did break the law (by not reporting it). But that's all we know as fact. So I don't condone calling him a murderer or even stating that he was in on it. He might have been. But I don't know. I will condone calling him an idiot and someone who is detrimental to the team.
Level headed response.

So because someone has something not good in their past a present accomplice to murder gets a free ride?

Sometime I am amazed at the contortions some will go to.

That is a nonsensical conclusion of my point.

Your point is well taken, and I am sorry at the loss of your precious child. I as a flawed human being, cannot condemn no one, even though family members have committed heinous acts.

No, this shows complete foolishness. My point is all criminal behavior should be condemned.
That's not what you implied. You said, "This shows the narrow view, that most individuals take. One act of evil, is no better than another." That implies that you think all "acts of evil" (Though, a kid taking $5 from his mother's purse isn't what I'd consider evil.) are the same. Once I point it out to you, you change your tune and try to say I'm the one who shows foolishness.

You guys are still on this?

You need to do what the NFL does not do? Let police investigate, let charges be filed or not filed, let grand juries indite or not indite, and let judge and jury make a verdict.

In all those steps a person is innocent until proven guilty in the United States of America's prosecuting and court system.

Deu 1:16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.
Deu 1:17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
Deu 1:18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

Solid unsolicited advice, but naw.
If the discussion is too triggering, pass over it maybe? This is about a player drafted early that may get suspended even if your book or the laws book says innocent. Facts.
This is about risky character traits that were evident, but looked over.

I'd really like the players drafted to fulfill their contract expectations.
