That’s exactly what’s being reported lolOnly sneaky if they didn't tell him.

And they could have removed that before he signed with Denver, but they didn't. Gregory and his agent told them to take it out or he wouldn't sign. So in essence they let him walk. They put that language in his contract after he had agreed to the terms of the deal. Very sneaky maneuver
Really? I thought Stephen made a point of telling him? I could be wrong, but that was the impression I've been under. That’s exactly what’s being reported lol
Your grandmother would slap that silly fool into next week.Better to be labelled a coward than a fool. He has no obligation to the opinions of the media and every obligation to set the culture of the Cowboys in the right way.
IMO part of the right way is to not talk about your laundry. Keep your piehole shut!
My grandmother taught me this, and I think Jerry could use a bit of my grandmother's advice.
I think Jerry needs to stop talking about past decisions and trying to offer tidbits of justification.
True or not there is no good to come of this. Think about how Dorance or any d-lineman would feel if they ended up with a nagging injury that kept them out of the lineup for a period of time.
Is this going to be part of my future contract discussions? The truth is yes, but there is no need to create unnecessary tension where there doesn't have to be any.
Keep a lid on the evaluation criteria for contracts out of the media, and to yourself.
If I was the Devil I would offer Jerry another deal. One I think he would struggle greatly with.
Jerry old boy, I'll give you another SB won your way IF you never speak into another microphone again.
