2. Trevor Penning - Freakin nasty dude right here, love the attitude

I wonder if Jerry is setting us up for a KM trick play and as in the @Hawkeye0202 thread all of these 30 Visits for Guards were a smoke screen.
Our greatest need is undoutably LG, but I wonder if Linderbaum and a veteran LG (Flowers or Turner) is the actual target.
Just thinking it's strange how we've shown no interest in the one player that's only real weakness is the length of his arms...and by most every 'expert' says doesn't matter as his play's so good that it isn't a real red flag. Heck picking at 24 there's going to be at least one red flag.

.....and the reason for not signing the veteran LG, maybe because: 1) we've no real preference on who's left so we'll get him cheap 2) after the draft won't count against comp picks 3) they don't want to tip their hat, keep teams thinking we need to take Green or Johnson and therefore there's no real urgency for teams to take Linderbaum as he's likely to fall as what team needs a Center with their first pick?

.....would be concerned of Eagles taking Linderbaum, due to the prescendence of taking Kelce and the need if he hadn't re-signed....but now he's signed I wonder if they would use a 1st Rd pick on him or would plug other gaps and take a developmental Center later than can be mentored by Kelce.

.....Linderbaum's the pick, if his tape is that good then does TRex arms (in a position where size can be overcome by athletic ability) really matter. If our Scouting Dep is that good surely they go by tape (not size charts that in isolation don't mean a thing).
I've now exhausted all my Draft Day adrenaline.

Drake London

My thoughts as well, and most on this forum will be disappointed. Rumor is a lot of folks in that room love the kid.
Probably thinking it will help with the red zone woes. I don’t think the other guys fall enough, but this guy may be there at 11- 14 range, and where rumored the Cowboys have been making calls to move up too.Who knows how it plays out? But I think they would be more than happy to move up and take The Tower of London.

I'm about tired of the main thing about Penning being his nastiness. What great left tackles in the league are "nasty"?

Why trade capital for a big body in the red zone? Just use Vasher who is 6’6

It would be utter comedy if the Cowboys traded 10 or 11 spots up, and gave up a 2nd + for WR London. I don't even think the Jones boys are this dumb. If you trade up for a WR it better be Calvin Johnson, not some so so WR that plays basketball.

I’ll bet you whatever you want Dallas doesn’t draft any of those 3
The only way they don't draft one of the first two is if they have already been drafted and if Linderbaum slips to them and they pass then they better have someone else in mind like Green.

There is a lot of upside there with that kid and I'm looking forward to what he can do next year.

Well they had a chance at Linderbaum but Jerry decided to get a guy that would have been there in the 3rd round.

lol, That's why N.E. called to trade up for Smith. You go Coach.
93.9 run-blocking grade in 2021 (highest by an AAC Tackle EVER)
Biadasz wasn't the biggest problem running the ball.
