I watched several long Interviews with Kayvon Thibodeaux.. Yesterday he had a segment with Marcus Spears.. Kayvon has that peacock,, look at me attitude .. More interested in building his brand and blaming others for his lack of production. If he does fall, I can see the Cowboys moving up to grab him.. Typical HotBoyz type of player..

I agree. That's the kind of player he's looking to get if he drops to the early teens. But hey, we can at least get a few good years out of him in a worst case scenario. You don't think he sucks, right?

He's very talented. But he has to stay motivated and hungry..

if we walk out of vegas with that oregon duck...would anyone really complain about that.
i wouldn't.
go in picking near the bottom...walk out with a top 5 or top 10 player.
i'd love that.

A second contract should motivate any player. What you have to worry about is if they remain motivated after those big guarantees a 2nd contract offers. You may just want to move on from certain players after their rookie deal. That doesn't mean they can't give you 3-4 good years.

Isn't the buzz around him that he has turned off a number of teams with his interviews? IF that is true, I could see him sliding. IF it's true, he's exactly the type player that gives me huge pause. Aren't we (fans anyway) trying to get rid of the "me first" personalities?

I would rather pass on the player if I have those concerns before he cashes his first paycheck.

If we trade up and get Thibodeaux, without mortgaging the entirety of this draft or the future, that's a huge win.
That's what I was thinking.

Although he's not quite as agile laterally as I would like, this due is going to be good at the bare minimum. He's the rare type that he'll stand out athletically amongst NFL players.

It all depends how far we need to get up. Cowboys haven’t traded up since 2012 Jane slater said. 10 year anniversary for Jerry. He’s gotta be ready to go.

He will have to fall to around 10ish at a minimum. Never say never but it’s very unlikely.
