This draft has all the earmarks of lots of movement up and down the board and the team that always piques my interest is Philly. They just do not seem to be able to sit still where they are and they have 15 and 18 and traded with Dallas to get up to beat NY to Smith in the last 1st round.

This draft does not seem to have that wow player. Got some good players but its lacking in the usual QB's so the moves up will be interesting and Philly might be one of those in the hunt for a 1st round QB.

The other teams are New York at 5 and 7 and Houston at 3 and 13. NY could actually double up on the DL where they are and start to resemble the old NYG.

So, other than the Cowboys, what's got you jazzed about tomorrow night?

Since I dont follow college football at all, it will be great today. I know once we draft our player I wil get to listen to all the experts talk about how we got the next Reggie White and I will go to bed all happy knowing we just got a future HOF player.

They definitely don’t. Dallas won’t be picking at 24. I’m certain they’re moving up.
I agree... Jerry knows he's getting older and he wants moves to have big impacts now. I would be shocked if we don't move up.

I hope the Cowboys do something exciting, get someone exciting.
I don’t care if they trade up, stay put, or trade down. Maybe an exciting player drops.
Get at least 2 for OL, a WR, a TE, a LB, maybe a DL.
If the draft went exactly the way I’ve dreamed, how boring. That’s why I love the draft!
Last year I was devastated when both CBs were gone; intrigued when we traded down; hopeful when they drafted Parsons, but honestly, I’ll bet most fans were never really excited until they saw the kid on the field.

I'd be happy with one of Kenyon Green, Darian Kinnard or Zion Johnson in R'nd 1. It'd be a good start to resolve our LG problem.

Bad knees, I keep reading.
No expert here but from what I've read, Zion Johnson looks like a good pick to me. And he has played some at center too.i just want a good offensive lineman. Or a solid defensive player or 2. Or 3.

That's ok. Thought maybe he was lazy or not coachable something along those lines.
Those are two of the hardest character attributes to ever decern from any selection ever,, lol
I just grade Greens' lateral adjustments lower than other OL in this draft.
Green will most likely be the OL still available around that point tonight,, thats my opinion and concern.

For me, it's the entire round.
With no perponderance of QBs to slant the process, it will be interesting to see what teams determine their PON / the BOA are best for each --- and who they choose among the two dozen or so players that have dominated the draft articles and conversation for the last two months.

Funny how many mentioned the less than happy members after the pick. I was at the other forum when Yosemite was picked and the wailing and gnashing of teeth was very loud and Booger could have sold sackcloth apparel.

I was one of the few that wasn't but not because I knew much about him but I did know his HC had just become the HC at AR and the Joneses had spoken with him since he was considered a lineman guru. So I did a little homework.

It was pretty much the consensus it was a reach and he wasn't worthy of a 1st round grade even if he was the smartest player in that draft. I thought why does that matter if he solves a problem and he more than did that, what a great pick and player, every bit as smart and solid as advertised.

If you've read any of the draft dreams of the members here, unless one of the top 5 picks falls into their laps, going to be some really unhappy posters. But is that much different than every other draft?

Is that their goal or to ultimately have the future LT? The possible trade up might not be for a WR as I previously thought, could be for a hybrid to step in as the LG now but eventually at LT and when Big Smitty is sidelined and he will be sidelined.

You are 100% correct in your prediction. From the comments on the many, many draft related threads here on this 'zone' ( I didn't even look at the official 'Draft Zone') - 80 to 85% who respond will be disappointed, either with the position the FO selects or the particular player chosen.

I'm hoping they'll take either one of them as a possible LG replacement for Williams. I think Jerry's hoping some promising OL candidate will drop somewhat and make it easier to draft him without involving too much in consideration for a guy like Green. Johnson should be get-able in the second round, since he's considered a 2nd/3rd round talent. It's my understanding that Green can play at LT, or LG while Johnson can play either LG or Center.
