Zion has to be the pick if he makes it to 24. He can play G or C right away - gives you flexibility with the rest of your line. Green can do the same, but Zion seems to be able to do it just a little better - with impressive other traits beyond physical.

i would give up our 3rd for Cross(maybe even next years 4th thrown in),we dont need to trade up for Burks or Zion.
Me too. I have a hard time imagining Cross falling to the 17-18 range, but we get surprises every year.

It's all guess work this year, but expect the late-breaking speculation today w/Penning,Tyler Smith or a trade up, will be "leaked" to Mike Fisher or Jane Slater as they would be perceived to be close to the Cowboys.I could of course be wrong, and surprised. but I think its all about Green,Johnson or surprise!..... Tyler Linderbaum,(March's favorite, who they've gone silent on)at 24.It makes too much sense that they've left a hole at LG to pass on Green or Z.Johnson....and has anyone considered what they might think of Biadsz as a reserve guard.

I would stay put at 24. If the player you want is not there move on to the next guy.

why do people overrate draft picks

Well in this situation since the two dip heads who run the team don’t use FA to improve the team, instead roster building through the draft, blowing picks to trade up for one player is dumb.

We aren’t one player away. So if they trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick with their first to move up for a WR, for example, that would just be stupid logic on their part.

Exactly. For the team to do absolutely nothing positive in FA to then blow multiple picks on one player in a weak draft is just hilariously incompetent

don't worry the family of baboons can't get lucky every draft. so get ready for this of course this year Philadelphia will be east winner because of the dumbies in charge one thing is too trade for a receiver with a 1st round pick, and then trade him for a fifth you do the math, and turn and snub your nose at the fan's increase there ticket price and the tell you that's okay. well it's not okay steven a. has got it right the product he puts on the field every year is a big disappointment if coach Landry was here he would be holding his nose because year after year rhis team will stink it up. right now we have a gang banger on the roster that was in the car when a young man life was snuffed out and kept it hidden for at least a month. can you be excited about this team. I've been a cowboy fan since 1970 when i was young and dumb but so for this team is something else and i don't mean that in a good way

Of course it all depends on who they pick.

But for instance, if you are trading up to secure a good player instead of using that third round pick to draft another Nahshon Wright, does it matter?

Me too. They'd also be nuts to trade up to 12 for Penning.

Might want to keep something else in mind. It will cost a 3rd and a 4th at minimum to trade up from 24 to 17. Unless the Chargers are desperate.

I still contend they are looking for a splash type player in a trade up that's 10-12 spots. Just trading up in front of the Cardinals is a different story. I don't see much difference in the players mentioned on both videos.

I think the Cowboys are targeting Cross, Thibodeaux, Hamilton, or Davis. I think those are the types of players being targeted if they're going to give up a 2nd plus.

I think a small move up to say New England is much realistic than going up to 14
move up was always unlikely and anything big really unlikely as they love the draft for roster building.
they weren't going to forfeit a lot of capital to move up.
