Forget Brown, they chose another mauler on defense, and they still have Cox, Hargrave, and the gang.
The Cowboys stole Gallup this offseason. He needs to fire his agent. Brown and Kirk got crazy salaries and our similar players to Gallup. The Cowboys screwed up the Cooper deal. They should have kept him and traded him during the draft. The Cowboys were smart to move on from Gregory and Collins. What New England has done doesn’t work for everyone. It’s not going work for them anymore without Tom Brady. Ryan Tannehill is a mid tier QB who just lost one of his top weapons. No guarantees the receiver they drafted pans out. They moved on from a proven player to an unproven one. As for the Cowboys they traded away Amari Cooper for practically nothing. That certainly didn’t make them a better team.
I think they have a money issue. Just couldn’t pay AJ so they got a cheap replacement rookie
Insane. I could see if they had a quarterback but I don’t get what they are doing.
The Wentz trade was so impressive for Howie. Wentz did not want to be in Philly anymore and Howie was able to get a first round pick for him.We also traded Carson Wentz for a 1st and a 3rd. We basically swapped Wentz for AJ
I’d rather have both then him. They just have a certain dog in them that Cooper doesn’t possess.amari cooper is not as good as aj brown? lol
guessing not better than hollywood either?
Hopefully he gets them to 8 or 9 wins lol.I think they're sticking to their promise to give Hurts a legit shot at being the guy but notice the capital they have for 2023 if he fails.
Yeah the more I see…the more I’m starting to think they could’ve got more for Cooper…..granted, he’s not good as Brown, Hill or Adams….but he has to be better than a 5th.
He’s pretty good at playing football
Hollywood at least shows up against good teams every once in awhile.I live in Maryland and get to watch plenty of Ravens football. Hollywood Brown is not better than Cooper. He might be faster but not a guy that's a go to receiver like Cooper sucks have been here.
Anyhow, the front office got the short end of the stick once again in a trade. A 5th round for a legit WR1 receiver in his prime makes no sense
He’s pretty good at playing football
Gives them a better opportunity to evaluate Hurts as a QB. Here we talk about the Cowboys doing it with Cooper, but the Bills did it with Stephon Diggs too. Allen was a wreck before they added Diggs. Its hard to evaluate your QB with trash skill players. Brown/Smith/Watkins is a very compelling WR corps.
Could be, but I think with Brown and Smith you have two WR's that can create on their own. Brown is a good physical contested catch WR and Smith is a good route runner and smooth after the catch. Before, playing Philadelphia you can defend Smith and live with whatever Watkins might do. Now you have to really gameplan with your CB'sI really do think its Goedert who's gonna get them open. That's the golden nugget that allowed us to dump Ertz like we did
Not enough
It works out that he traded Wentz for A.J. BrownThe Wentz trade was so impressive for Howie. Wentz did not want to be in Philly anymore and Howie was able to get a first round pick for him.
