1. Zion Johnson - the most likely pick to fill in right away at left guard
2. Trevor Penning - Freakin nasty dude right here, love the attitude
3. Tyler Linderbaum - He's better than Biadasz but the Cowboys have bigger holes to fill than at center.
Getting one of these guys is an instant upgrade and will go a long way to improving a depleted o-line. You heard it here first Coach D.

lol, That's why N.E. called to trade up for Smith. You go Coach.
93.9 run-blocking grade in 2021 (highest by an AAC Tackle EVER)
Biadasz wasn't the biggest problem running the ball.
See this is the problem with you people you're just like the mainstream media you failed to mention 16 freakin penalties with 12 of them being holding penalties are you kidding me?? The Cowboys could have gone ahead and just resigned Connor Williams for that. You throw out the 93.9 run blocking grade (ya ok whatever you say) I watched this guy's tape and I see nothing that stands out the guy is our next George Hegamin.

"Guarenteed Lock"

You keep using those words. I do not think it means what you think it means. - paraphrase from Princess Bride

One gone, one not worthy to trade up for, and one not chosen when available.

It looks like ‘the problem’ lies with you. You were wrong, be mature enough to accept that.

Could the Boys run the ball to finish games the second half of the season? That answer would be "No".
Did we see much second level run blocking last year?
Who gives a damn where the not-so-smart NFL gurus say a player is stacked if the player improves the team.
Whatever it takes to improve the run game makes the option & passing game better. If the Cowboys aren't helping Dak, they're not getting better, nor will they advance beyond the 1st round because they can't run the damn ball.

Wrong about your asinine lock prediction. And you follow that up by throwing a tantrum about it. No need to ‘wait’.

A bit of factual info- Tyron Smith's rookie year- 16 penalties, 12 for holding.
Just guessing, Tyler Smith has less @ LG.

His penalties are in space, which is much less an issue at guard.

HUH well Linderbaum was there and he was one of the players that I mentioned but your boy Jerry passed him up but instead went for a penalty waiting to happen. Like I said before George Hegamin 2.0 or Connor Williams with all the freakin penalties.

Your ‘lock’ was a failure. And your childish, petulant attitude now just makes you look worse. Be a man, take the ‘L’ and move on.

Yeah, that’s what I’m doing.

At no point in this conversation.

But when you’re not smart enough to argue the point, reach for that Strawman argument and something nobody ever said.

Grow up.

I posted this video in the other thread. But I think people need to listen to Tyler Smith's interview.

He has all the physical tools you need. And is apparently a smart, articulate guy, which means it's very likely he can be coached.

Not sure why all of you are so upset. I expected he may go to Dallas because he fits their need and profile, and here he is.

I feel a lot better about it, too, because they'll be playing him at guard, not tackle. That's where he belongs in the NFL. And I suspect he'll thrive there.

OK, I'll play.
Cowboys pick Linderbaum, then what, bench Biabasz?
What I watched was a young Center improving each year and the word around the Star is Biabasz is putting on muscle.
Who's the LG? Gonna draft a LG in the second instead of a WR? If not, then they're looking at 3rd round that's going to be better than Connor Williams???
Sometimes a 1st round pick is for the 5th yr option. I remember Frederick being called a wasted pick from NFL geniuses.
The first round didn't play out as we fans nor Dallas expected.
There's a lot of draft left and we need to see it play out.
