Totally realistic and expected.

I wouldn't be mad, and though I feel we could probably do better than Ruckert, I do like the player.

I am a Williams fan. The team loves him, but it's for a good reason--he gets the QB. The best edge guys will go far before our pick

Jelani Woods >>>>> Jeremy Ruckert

Ruckert is an inconsisten blocker. Ruckert also has dealt with a case of plantar fasciitis since the practices leading into the Senior Bowl

Ruckert over Tindall, Leal, Austin, Shakir ... even Jelani Woods?

Head scratcher and a half.

Overreaching for Sam Williams is one thing but Ruckert???

That Mock wouldn't surprise me at all.
With that said.
Would prefer they trade up for TJones than take SWilliams there.
Would prefer they took PMathis than take SWilliams there
Would prefer they took DLeal over JRuckert, if he falls to the 3rd.
Hate the idea of Giants getting NDean and Eagles getting Christian Harris

i just cant handle another problem child in RD 2 ,i would rather trade up for someone like Mafe .do we really need to draft 4 guys in RD 5?
I don't think they are going to.

But what team wants a bunch for 5th's for a 2? Nobody wants the 5ths either lol

i also think Woods would way higher than that and if the Cowboys were to draft a TE it will be Woods.

If this mocks comes to fruition we'll have developmental players at all first 3 rounds.
2022's possibly a developmental season and Jerry's words about free agency not being over may be another of his fabrications.
Then again, consolidating on what we've got, carrying over the cap and starting 2023 with at least some high(ish) ceiling prospects may not be the worst approach.

I mean regardless of who we draft/drafted, likely only 1-2 are going to start day one.

If we draft Sam Williams, he will backup Fowler/Armstrong. If we draft a TE, they won't play over Schultz. Looking at the roster, the team has a few needs. But you aren't going to find a lot of starters after today.

Lmao. Exactly what I called after last night ended. This team is predictable on their picks.

I find it hard to pass on Calvin Austin III or Jelani Woods for Jeremy Ruckert who is still banged up

Woods for me over Ruckert

I'd be taking Anderson or Muma over Williams in rd 2. In rd 3 Ruckert is a good pick, but you wouldn't have to twist my arm very hard to get me to take Rhyan even though we just took Smith at 24.
