I highly doubt that. I'm seeing it this year without even looking for it. I'm just not clicking on it. Parsons was a safe pick, Best player on the board, why would you laugh?
My point is NOBODY knows what a good or bad pick is until the players plays for a few years. The drafts are crap shoots, EVERY YEAR.

The AFC is a loaded conference. Without Brady— NE has unquestionably taken a step back.

But even with that being the case— the NE organization has more results and is a more efficiently and effectively run organization top to bottom than Dallas is.

I would GLADLY swap out every coach, personnel man, scout, front office exec etc… that we have for their guys.

IMO the whole “Dallas drafts better than everybody else” narrative is hollow. What results has that brought us? We may have drafted better than NE since 2000– but they have 6 championships in that time span and we have not even sniffed a NFCCG.

Besides— for every “hit” on someone we drafted— I can point to plenty of whiffs. This FO is a clown show.

Like I said for years... Brady left, and the Pats are now just like everybody else... including the great Billy Boy.

So Im assuming most of you saw McVeigh laughing at the Pats first rd pick? Just imagine had that happened when the Cowboys pick. Just imagine how many posts would be on how incompetent out front office was... they are so incompetent that other teams are literally laughing at our draft picks. I think the forums servers would have exploded.

The Rams are the defending champs and the Patriots have six Lombardis this century, but thank God no one is laughing at the Cowboys draft pick.

We will see. Even if their reign is over— their run far exceeds anything JJ has done in a quarter century

You mean with the college leader in holding...and mostly against smaller schools?
Taco Charlton pick #2 here we come!
we'll see.
i think it was a solid pick.
love the physical traits and the physical part of his game.
our run game should improve now...he's one of the best at it.

How competent has Billy been in the past 4 years? The offensive weapons he had for Brady were pathetic. Since Brady left how many playoff wins do they have? You expect them to kick arse this year?
As many wins as Dallas has

true...... my point is the same as it has always been. Those that strike gold at QB are simply the ones in the hunt most years. You dont have the QB, you are just like everybody else. You think Peyton "Retires," from the Saints if Drew Brees is still playing? Payton is smart like a fox... dont suffer through these losing seasons the Saints are about to have, come back to a team with a proven QB, or go to the team about to land a Trever Lawrence and go back to being called "Great," some more.

exactly, which can we agree isnt good? Can we agree that when Billy does about this same amount for the next 4 years it would get coaches fired?
Bill took cam Newton as a stop gap during co id year and went 7-9. Took rookie Mac Jones to the playoffs. Went 11 -5 with Matt cassel. Let's not compare football greats to nepotistic dysfunction for a quarter century

QB play is a differentiator for sure. But Brady is also not stupid. Do you think playing in NE where that D was almost always top 10 and played their best ball in the playoffs was a coincidence?

Or his decision to play in Tampa Bay who also happens to have a great D?

Romo and the offense were elite in 2014– but mistakes and a sub par D let them down in GB (everyone whines about the Dez catch— but even if we get the TD there, I don’t see our D stopping Rodgers with 4 mins to play do you?).

Great QB play only gets you so far. Rodgers, Wilson, and Brees all only have one ring. Defense, culture, and organizational excellence also have big impacts as well.

My point is simple. Dallas is a poorly run organization with culture problems and they can’t get out of their own way— even when they have a roster of talented players.

Yep, that would have been epic.
Jerry's Amatuer way of handling his role as GM and lack of success leaves him open to a lot of criticism deserved or not.

11-5 is so great? 11-5 and getting bounced in rd 1 every year gets coaches about 5 years before they get fired.

We lost in GB because DeMarco Murray fumbled on what would have been a TD run through a whole the size of a mac truck... not the defense.

Sure Brees, Rodgers and Wilson have only 1 TD... because guys like Brady, Peyton Manning, and Big Ben were winning them in the other years 75% of the time. 1 HOF QB cant win 10 i9n a row, but combine all those QB Greats, and they were bringing home the title 80% of the time.

Saints won 1 ring and finished below 500 like 3 years in a row WITH BREES and they are held up as an organization ran "The right way."

Yea. Holding the high powered Mcvay rams to 3 in the SB, coaching the exact play for Malcolm Butler to INT Russel Wilson, taking a rookie qb to playoffs in yr 1 is crap. All Brady

Are you a serious human being? This is just wishcasting some "perceived pseudo- profound point" and whitewashing the achievements of one of the best defensive coach in the history of the game

We let a one legged Rodgers beat us in 2014 because we could NOT get any pressure on him.

Demarco Murray was stripped by an amazing play made by an impact defensive player which further proves my point. We didn’t have enough playmakers on D for years and years.

Name me your list of the top 10 greatest coaches of all time. You might have 1 name on that list that didnt have a HOF qb on that coaches roster.
