Also wondering if Smith is the answer at LG, can the Cowboys actually go out and sign J.C. Tretter after the draft to play center?

If you are picking at 24– and your 16th rated player is there, and you have targeted him all along—- AND you “know” Tenn is hot to trade up to take him:

You don’t trade back and you don’t tell Tyler he “beat out 3 other guys” for you to draft him lol

You said what a lot of people are thinking. The drafting of this kid shows how bad this organization is being run. Stop with all the BULL**** and come clean. Rated 16 only shows how stupid you look. This is suppose to be a happy moment in this kids life and Jerry trying to fool everybody is bad.

I knew we weren’t going to do it as soon as Jerry said it. That was his tactic to get the NFC East wheeling and dealing. Might have worked, the Eagles gave up some picks to move up but got beat by the Lions for that rec.

Depends on whether you believe they really had Smith above Green and Johnson. Last year, they had Parsons rated above Horn and Surtain, didn't they? That's what he said.
