I am a wisconsin fan and watch all the games. I have watched this guy his entire college career.

a couple of things to know.
He is the grandson of legendary coach barry alvarez so he has been under the spotlight for a while. As a college prospect he tested extremely well and had interest from a lot of major programs including Bama.

He was a very reliable target his entire college career. He is surprisingly nimble and smooth for a big guy and can catch very well. He is a great red zone target. I see him as a little bit more of a finesse pass catcher than the run blocker type.

i could see him developing into a starter or a very reliable number 2 TE. I think he will thrive in the modern NFL that values big pass catching TE. Injuries were never a major concern in his college career.

He is a solid, traditional TE who contribute both in the run and passing game. Could see him replacing Shultz next yr, at a much cheaper rate

All the scouting reports I’m reading say he’s a below average blocker.

He reminds me a lot of Jarwin tbh. Decent pass catcher that is sneaky athletic but average blocker.

If he is even an average blocker it would be a big step in the right direction.
He is not per the draft reports. Seems like a practice squad/special teamer this year, then we can let Shultz go and complain about TE again. Or with this FO they'll probably tag him again.

Probably the best highlight of any nfl draft prospect in this class

impressive

cowboys probably considered him at 24 and were able to get him in the 4th. They dominate this draft game.

Good chuckle on that one.
