Jack of all trades master of none. Good pickup. Solid player.
Fair analysis
Not a great but willing blocker
Not fast but good catch radius and uses his body well
If we let Schultz walk next year then TE will be on the need list but he’s could be a decent number 2
We’ve had some success developing TE, Schultz was not considered a good receiver coming out but developed well

Catches everything, and he has good game speed. More strength, add some blocking, and we have a good player.

Did we just waste a 4th round pick because they felt they had to go TE in the 4th. Was there a steal perhaps at another position. I usually look forward to the 4th round picks. You can get good value..

I know that it's only one play but he goes up and gets it, takes a good shot from the DB, and still holds onto the football. Ya gotta start somewhere.

Cool. Turd Ferguson to Dallas. Such a Cowboys! pick.

God forbid we get a TE that can stretch vertically.

Ticket radio suggesting that Cowboys wanted Chris Kolar TE, but Baltimore picked Kolar who went one pick earlier b4 Cowboys ....

Its like teams always know who we want. Remember the eagles jumping up and getting the TE Dallas Goedert right before our pick. Seems to happen often when we want to get a TE lol. Don't the ravens have a good TE lol

I actually like this pick. What I don’t like is it felt like the FO was zeroed on on TE and they took next on line vs pivoting. I might be wrong

and Mckeon is already developing, don't count him out.

we seem to forget players from recent drafts like Mckeon, Ball, Farinkok, SemiF, & vasher etc etc these guys could develop. We aren't whole heartedly depending on this draft alone to fill recent holes..I wouldn't completely write off Mcgovern either.

this is what OTas, Mcs, TC, and pS are for..positon battles start very soon and players from last year and already on the roster will have some say in it..

They seem to love McKeon but we haven’t seen much of him. They have
If ball can develop that’s huge
I really like Farniok and think he may push to start at center

Dak needs 100 yards on the ground to win. TE's that can stret h vertically are known for being poor blockers. So what you're suggesting might do more harm than it does good. Besides the TE you're talking about is already on this team. His name is Sean McKeon.

If you have a QB that needs 100 yards in the ground to win seems like you'd do anything to help assure we gain 100 yards. So a blocking TE like Ian Bunting could be a better fit than a Sean McKeon. McKeon should be used as a third down TE....a change of pace guy of sorts.
