They draft alright. They just hide under a rock during FA so they don't supplement the good drafting.
And then we have the Jones Boyz having to be in every meeting, undermining the HC, etc...

Drafting good at areas they want to good at. The problems have come from the FO ignoring certain positions and the coaching staff's plain Jane vanilla approach. So the players we do have...have to overcome the FO and the coaching just to win a Super Bowl. Not to mention the opponent.

pardon me Bro. Non sarcasm. It all depends on what you call meaningful. It's been 26years since a Super Bowl yes. But that's not what animates me.
The year we went to the playoffs with Quincy Frickin Carter at Qb That was meaningful. Tuna Coached those boys up and they played above their heads
Tony Romo took Dallas into GB and had it not been for some colossal BS on the NFL and its officials. That was one for the ages.
Dak Prescott and his rookie campaign. We won something again not the Super Bowl, but hardly meaningless. See my man I've been a fan since 1971. I've seen the glory years
I also seen the 1980's. So Be patient my man. Super Bowls , like tomorrow, ain't promised to no one
OR just be miserable and piss all over everything Cowboys!!!!!!

You can't be serious.
We have two good days of drafting and this 26 years of ineptitude is suddenly thrown out the window? We've had many good drafts in the last 10 years. How many playoff games has that translated to winning? That's what really counts.
I'm tired of having these ultra talented teams and going nowhere. It's inexcusable.

Do you know anything about him besides the penalties? He is a straight up beast and possibly the meanest player since E. Williams. He fot Larry Allen's number for a reason.

I've seen the tape but penalties are absolute drive killers. If he can get his technique right and avoid being flagged I will absolutely love this pick. Its a pure gamble. Lets hope we come out on top.

Their best players weren't selected based on a superior ability to evaluate. Very often they got that player because the catastrophe they wanted had been mercifully avoided
Martin, Dak, Frederick's, Micah....They were supposed to be other players.
The Cowboys have constantly cheated themselves by drafting players that severely cripple them at all the wrong times.
For some time, it became traditional to assume the Cowboys would start the season with their backup DE's for the first 6 games of the season.
In Zeke's case it was at the point when the Cowboys had all the momentum that he was suspended.
The Cowboys executives just don't get it. Character counts.
Furthermore, they draft for need while ignoring superior talent. When they ignore BPA they.lose out on potential elite players. They are ignoring 95% of the prospects.
The talent margin between need and BFA is sacrificed. Besides, filling a "need" still places the team one play away from where they were before.the
