Im not sure if Williams will be able to be as disruptive as Gregory, but I like his potential. If Im being honest.. after watching his highlights, I don’t see a player OL’man are going to fear initially. Yet, I like his “lunch pail” style of play and tenacity.
Granted, Williams didn’t have much help on that Ole Miss DL. He still registered nice stats in the SEC despite the lack of talent around him.. and that says a lot imo. Atleast we won’t have to worry about the volatile emotions that Gregory seemed to carry. Williams seems motivated to prove could be the best DE/OLB in this draft. That’s the type of mindset that really separates him from Gregory. Not to mention, it won’t be hard for Williams to match (and/or surpass)Gregory’s statistical production.
